@05XR8 -- Man, I wish! I'm already slipping back to playing Enthusia for the cars it offers that the PCARS franchise might never offer, including six of that list, most exceptionally the Galant GTO (and close to a seventh, the RX-3). Even Gran Turismo isn't that kind of game anymore, while Forza just isn't worth it.

There's a reason I've got the PS2 always hooked up and two spare copies of EPR after the one I'm using.

I’m think of an overall £7.50 expansion which would introduce the stadium super trucks to PCARS2. Some of the tracks they go to exist so it’s just adding the SST variant and maybe one Stadium track

With the physics of the GT-A/GT-B cars, SMS can do it. Would be fantastic for PC3. Imagining a separate SMS Touge game, might be a nice option.

What if Ian Bell decided to go with the Supercars deal and got the circuits? What if they could source a Laguna?

What are the chances that we might get more dlc that doesn't form part of the initial 4 dlc pack plan?

Would love to see Kyalami, Istanbul, Magny Cours etc. on the game. Think there should be some opportunities at the forgotten F1 tracks that aren't part of the F1 calendar anymore. These tracks remain very popular among fans.

The dream is also for some F1 cars, though probably a bit unlikely.

After the season pass ends I do hope they release a few cars and tracks. I dont mind a few free dlc.

I dont see the need for Project Cars 3 especially on current consoles.

I would love to see game with Vintage Formula 1 seasons.... I think Codemasters doesn't use full potential of that license. They are making only new season with some optional vintage cars but not full Vintage seasons. Imagine game with full 1989 F1 season, full 1994 season etc...
We can only "simulate" it in some games using Lotus 98T with different Liveries.

Sms most likely can at least include Ferrari F1's but if we want different teams I think we can forget it. It sucks to be honest somebody needs to take that F1 licence off codemasters and let it available to all.

I wonder if the old teams can be licenced like Ligier, Minardi, Jordan, Lola, Jaguar, Spyker, Toyota, Honda and many more.

I wonder if it is possible to get Ferrari F1/86 and McLaren MP4/2C which were competing against Lotus 98T already in game. Fit it in Vintage FA and we don't have FULL season but at least more variety in "fictional" Formula A from 1986....

I'd really like some more cars to flesh out the classic racing categories so they all have at least 6 different (looking at you Porsche 935) cars to choose from. Group A is a lot of fun and more cars from the early 90s would fit well. I'd like to make a pseudo 90s championship with LMP900, GT1, and Group A.

Then there's the new CanAm and Vintage Prototype A categories just made for the Porsches. They should get some more cars soon to compete with and then I can do a fun vintage early 70s series. That would have to be CanAm or Vintage Prototype A, Vintage Prototype B, Vintage GT-A

Instead of Group A this game desperately needs GT2 / GTS class from 1998 ;) And it can be done with 2 cars so it is possible to fit it in existing DLC plans...

I would even accept rumored Ferrari F355 Challenge to fit "fictionally" to this class :D

I agree, honestly - if we had even "just" a Ford Mustang, a 911 GT2, a Callaway Corvette (yes, Team Agusta's one from Test Drive Le Mans!), plus the Diablo moved to this new class, this would make the late 90's/early 00's endurance racing more complete.

There are ways around the problem of F1 licensing - namely adding single seaters which competed in Formula 2, Formula 5000 or the Tasman Championship Series. I know they aren't F1 cars, but they could be the next best thing and could race in the game against other historic F1 cars. I would approach it like this:

Add a few Formula 5000 cars to compete with the Lotus 49 (unwinged), 49C (winged) and 72D - the F5000's used to race the F1's in the Brands Hatch Race of Champions event every spring - Peter Gethin famously defeated the F1 cars with his F5000 in 1973. Also domestic F1 championships in several countries were run to F5000 regulations for a number of years (Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and USA - I think USA was known as Formula A). There are Lotus and McLaren examples which could be added or if they added Lola to the game that would increase the list of possible F5000 cars. These cars also sound just epic with their 5 litre Chevy V8's thundering away - it used to be great being trackside at Brands - you would hear a gaggle of screaming 3 litre DFV's interspersed with the sonorous thunder of the Chevy powered cars. They had the same performance - the F5000 had slightly more power, the F1 cars had slightly less weight.

We have the Lotus 25 in the game with its 1.5 litre V8 which is currently Billy no mates - there is a mouth watering array of brilliant F1 cars from that period with V6, flat 8, V8 and V12 engines, but sadly because of F1 licensing I presume we can't have any of them. However at that time all the top F1 drivers used to race in the Tasman series in the winter and that had 2.5 litre and 1.5 litre categories with 4 cylinder V6 and V8 powered cars - why can't we have those? Why not give us the Ferrari 246T (V6) raced by Chris Amon and the Alec Mildren 2.5 litre Alfa V8 powered Tasman raced by Frank Gardner and then we could race those against the Lotus 49. Add some 1.5 litre 4 cylinder Tasman cars and then we can race those against the Lotus 25.

There was no F1 World Championship in 1952 and 1953 due to a lack of cars (Alfa withdrew at the end of 1951 and BRM still hadn't got their V16 reliable / ready) the World Championship was therefore for F2 cars so why not add a sprinkling of those cars from 1952-53? Mike Hawthorn's F2 Cooper Bristol powered by the 2 litre Bristol straight 6. Add an F2 Maserati 6 cylinder - the car on which the famous 250F was based. There are 4 and 12 cylinder options from Ferrari.

To enable us to create those missing F1 seasons (missing because the BRM wasn't ready on time) why not give us the 1951 Alfa Romeo 159 (straight 8 supercharged 1.5 litre with 400+ bhp) the BRM V16 (V16 supercharged 1.5 litre with 600+ bhp) and the "Thinwall Special" Ferrari (4.5 litre naturally aspirated with around 330+ bhp). There couldn't be an F1 licensing problem if you picked those three! The cars could be balanced for performance via fuel stops. The supercharged 1.5 litre cars were much thirstier as they ran on exotic fuels - the 4.5 litre naturally aspirated cars ran on petrol and though slower in a straight line, were more economical and therefore lost less time in the pits.

How about some historic CART indycars? What about some cars from Nigel Mansells winning year - after winning the F1 title he went over to America and took the title in his debut year proving to be equally adept at road and oval courses.

Below F2 V12 Ferrari I photographed at the 2018 London Classic car Show.

With it being prototypes and them not running at Lime Rock maybe change that out for a track they run in WEC or ELMS that we don't have yet. Like Paul Ricard or Mexico

Yeah, as much as I love Lime Rock sadly they don’t run there and I think that’s a great idea.

The Lost Tracks

Nürburgring Südschleife
AVUS Berlin
Riverside
Daytona Beach Roadcourse
Circuit de Reims-Guex
Circuit de Montjuic
Targa Florio
Mille Miglia

Sadly the Targa Florio isn't very likely being nearly 80km in length and I would think the Mille Miglia would be impossible at 1000 miles, but agree it would be nice to get some lost / classic tracks - especially ones which bring an element of that targa feeling - Circuito da Boavista, Portugal might bring that feeling with a couple of long straights and a winding section through the houses - it was used by F1 in 1958 and 1960.

Longford, Tasmania could be great with the classic cars - the nearest equivalent we have is Bannochbrae. Longford was used for the Tasman series and saloon racing and would be a big challenge.

I don't think I would want Avus as it was basically 5 miles of highway with a loop at each end, but I would definitely want Reims, Riverside Raceway and Circuit de Montjuic.

I would also add the following lost circuits to my wishlist - Aintree - former home of the British GP - much of the track still remains, including the club layout, so it could be drone scanned.

Crystal Palace, London was a wonderful circuit set in beautiful parkland which closed in about 1970 - Mike Hailwood holds the lap record. It was great for single seaters and saloons in the 1950's and 1960's and would be great in game as we wouldn't need to worry about the dangers of unguarded trees and other hazards.

Dundrod, Ireland would be nice - it was used for the RAC Tourist Trophy and the Ulster F1 Trophy - its 7.4 miles had a great mix of straights and both fast and slow corners although it was dangerously narrow for cars so would need widening slightly for good gaming. Mike Hawthorn was the master of this track - it would be lovely if we got a D type Jaguar so I could pretend to be Mike!

Other great lost circuits could include Greenwood Roadway, USA - rumoured to be the inspiration for the layout of Deep Forest in Gran Turismo. Sadly it was only open for 3 years in the 1960's, but held some important races including USRRC.

A couple of favourite tracks of Stirling Moss - Clermont Ferrand (also known as Charade) - a sort of mini Nordschleife and sometimes home to the French F1 GP it had a great mix of corners . Another great drivers circuit was Bridgehampton, USA sadly now lost under a housing development and golf course.

Another possibility is Stardust International Raceway, Las Vegas, USA - it was a 3 mile circuit which hosted Can Am, Trans Am and USAC Champ Car races - sadly now lost under a housing development.

Finally how about Nassau, Bahamas - used for the Nassau Speed Weeks, which always used to attract a mouth watering field of cars!

Yes more "historic" tracks would be nice... I saw Targa Florio as Mod for AC on You tube... but I think it is impossible for PC2... and I´m on PS4...
I also like Kyalami classic, Zandvoort classic and Circuit de Charade - One of my favorite classic track.
And the AVUS races where part of my childhood - The DTM Races where great when I watched it on TV at German Television.
