Create Your Own GT3 Spa 24 In GT6...

As GT6 super license career does not have a Spa 24 Hour for "GT3" cars (Only LM type Proto cars at 24 minutes actually ) this week while sheltering in place I decided to make my own GT3 Spa 24 in arcade mode. Here's what you do to create the perfect 24.xx minutes equaling 24 arcade hours from day to night then back to day again within a total of 24.xx minutes...

Select Arcade single race
Select Circuit Spa
Select and use any GT3 car from your "garaged favorites" (I used my fav Mercedes with all mods and soft race tires)
Use arcade professional mode with 10 laps total
Set Spa time at 14:30
Set time advance to 60 max
You being 10th will get 9 AI GT3 competitor cars (Keep entering until you get the GT3 AI cars you want)
Pit at the end of Lap 5 even if you do not need to (half way through)
If you win and "do it right" you will go from day to night and back to day again.
Also you will even get to pass AI lapped cars around lap 7 or so and finish the race 24.xx minutes in...

Very nice mate, it would of being great if you were able to set tire wear and fuel consumption in arcade mode.

Exactly... so true on the tires and fuel, but I pitted at 5 anyway...although I was pleasantly surprised to see all the pit crews a ready there and mine did their normal routine changing the tires... couldn’t photo that inside the pit, but the replay vid shows up nicely... couldn’t post any video on YouTube cause it is longer than 15 minutes allowed by them for unpaid members. Might be to large of a file as well being that it is 24.xx minutes long...

What was your winning margin?

Next round in the challenge hub we are going to do 24 minutes of lemans.

I’d have to do the replay and check on the time... not sure how far ahead I was although the Audi R8 (as in the second daytime photo taken on lap 9) was far in my mirror... I passed them all on the first daytime... and then again at night after pitting...

Oh... I did a perfect very clean race with not a single scratch on my beloved Mercedes and I never touched any car during the race while using the harder professional mode which makes the timing just about right. I am pretty sure until I review the replay from another car perspective that the AI cars can’t say the same between them fighting to catch up with this old man from what a saw in my review mirror when I blew their doors in while passing. My best lap was the last one with a 2:17 and a 10 lap total of 24.xx ...

When you pitted did it give you the option to change tyres?

Yes... but I just clicked the same RS tires so I can’t guarantee you could switch to different ones. My guess is yes also as my RS tires were listed... and yes all the pit crews were there and my pit crew did a full change...

Finally got the video done...

I consider this my best Gran Turismo race that I ever did. In this GT6 A-spec race replay video I take my favorite GT3 class race car, the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 '11 fully tuned, to my own created 24 Hour simulation race at Circuit de Spa Francorchamps. The GT6 super license career mode does not have a Circuit de Spa 24 Hour race for GT3 class race cars, so I decided to create my own GT3 Circuit de Spa 24 Minute simulation of the 24 Hour race in arcade mode. It goes from day to night to pit stop then back to day again in 24.xx minutes with a total of 10 laps. My best single lap time was 2.17.910 on the final lap of the race.

This YouTube video was filmed directly off a plasma TV with a older iPhone. The quality of this GT6 replay is much better when actually viewed on the television screen.
