Only a few hours till race time, there is still a couple of spots free if anyone wants to make the race.
Please make sure you race clean there is no need to dive bomb this race is over 60 laps so you should get an oppurtunity to pass cleanly. Close racing is expected with these cars and mistakes can be made please respect all other drivers.
Please read the GTP OLR (link in OP) rules if you are not aware of them yet.
Please make sure you have read the qualifying and race start procedure.
Qualifying procedure
Please do not use the chat while qualifying is in progress
With there been a full grid and 2 diffrent class cars we are going to do group qualifying.
The track will be reset at 2:55 PM Eastern / 11:55 PM Pacific / 18:55 GMT / 7:55PM BST, the Honda CRZs will be asked to enter the pits first, then the Spoon CRZs will be asked to enter the pits.
Once all cars are in the pits the Spoons will be asked to leave the pits first and do there qualifying run.
Once you have finished your 1 flying lap please park up at the very end of the start finish straight and wait patiently for the Honda CRZs qualifying, please do not exit to pits or to the lounge.
When the Spoons have finished there qualifying I will give the signal for the Honda CRZs to start there qualifying, again once they have finished there 1 flying lap please park up at the end of the start finish straight.
Please take a note of your grid position.
I will take note of qualifying positions and times but mistakes can be made.
Spoon CRZ qualifying will be held before the race and will be a 1 lap warm up and a 1 lap fast lap so you will have to make it count.
Standard CRZ qualifying will be held before the race and will be a 1 lap warm up and a 1 lap fast lap so you will have to make it count.
After qualifying has finished you are free to use chat till the race start. (any issues or problems, this is the last chance before the race so please speak up).

Once the race has started the Spoons are to leave the grid first lining up in qualifying postion, then continue around the track at 65mph (104kph)
The Honda CRZs are to line up and start there 1 lap rolling start as the last Spoon goes around the first corner at 65mph (104).
Any questions or quierys before the race feel free to ask.

Sorry thought I'd put it in.
My lounge should be open about an hour before the race 6pm (GMT), 7pm (BST).
I think its set up so anyone can join the lounge even if i'm offline just go on my name in the community in GT life, then click on the lounge mug and click join.
I may not make it after all.
I will try to but no guarantees.

Alright lads, just to confirm once again. I will be there for the race, but i might miss half the Qualifying. I will make the race though.

Haha...I expect it to be a very close race. I just threw a tune on it that's half a$$ed and have no time to test for tire wear or if there's a way to max out the battery usage, both of which will be important in this length of race. I'll have to figure out the pit stop strategy on the fly
Unless I'm 10 seconds off the pace, I'm thinking that 60 laps in the Spoon with at least one pit stop and tire wear is going to run somewhere around 1:48-1:50?

My PB is a 1:44.9 but i'd imagine times would drop to 1:48s-1:49s after 20+ laps.

Im hoping for some close clean racing, Battery wear is a bit strange seems to be different with everyone.
Lap times with full battery and tyres can hit low 45s by a certain driver. But 45 to 48 is the range. Pits stops is up to you how many you take the minimun is 1 just keep an eye on thoose tyres.
