I was in there, today...jokingly said we should do this event and we actually instantly made a 4 player GTP race.

I had a go of this event when I was bored one day. It was actually quite fun. Pretty challenging to get the best from the car.

that was good for a laugh. i saw you getting hassled by some guy in a gutless car, so i squeezed him to a stop up against the barrier, and then proceeded on my way.

This does sound like fun. I raced that as my first online race I think it has loads of potential, as the most aggressive punters are wont to be racing more impressive cars... so it could easily be a haven for (a) GTPers and such, and (b) total incapable silly people.

And it's quick, so you can just keep cranking away at it at ten minute intervals

Are you all PAL? I could see trying to encourage an NTSC version of this as well...


EDIT:

I was also having a bit of fun in the HSR GT-R event. That was cool as all the cars were matched- so there was way more recourse with regard to punters. You just watch for brake-check attempts to ram you from in front, and don't necessarily pass them until they wipe out. If you try to pass them normally they run you off the road, but if you run reasonably fast and very defensively you can have a clean race

I'm Division Crud, but I was in one race where I got run off the road completely and still ended up in second. That was fun same type of fun as Cup of Coffee, I think.

Perhaps the GT-R event can be Cup Of Espresso?

Can I assume that 95 is kph and not mph? If I can get that thing to 60 mph by then of the tunnel, I feel I am having a great lap.
