;) Thanks, SS. I'm not a fascist dictator, I just play one on TV...

Anyway, back on topic: I'm just about 65% through my first game now. I started Pro a couple weeks ago and recently I knocked out the Boxer Cup and NA Cup using an RGT with stock horsepower, a little weight reduction, race suspension, and T3 tires. It would have been good competition except the dominant AI car always pitted on the 9th lap so a small lead became a huge one. I also added a Turbo 1 and ran the Turbo Cup in it (which was unfortunately too much power for a very close race).

I've also won the British Car Cup and the FF Pro. Dunno what to run next. Any suggestions?

Ving, how do you think you will do in the Amateurs with that car ?

When I restart or get another mem card I will be getting that car to use in the type R and FF races. If I am lucky enough to also have 10,000,000 from GTC it may even be my first car.

*deep sigh* Yes, gumpy.

Nope, it's just a save function. Once you complete 75% (licenses, Beginner League and Pro League), a save proxy appears telling you that you can now add 10,000,000 cr. and all licenses to GT3.

When you transfer the licenses over are they gold in GT3 ?

If so do you get the prize cars ?

NA Cup. 👍

Use the Vertigo and blitz the field (me) or use a stock Camaro race car - and still blitz the field! ;)

*expression of deep exasperation* Haven't I already told you that you need to complete 75% of the game to get the money and licenses?

No, just money and licenses.

well I blitzed the beginners.

went to start the amateurs but didnt have much time. I started the first race and noticed the following:

*most of the field seemed just that little bit quicker on straights and about the same in corners.
*the NSX left me for dead.... well me and the rest of the field.
*I need more power and grip.
*If tire wear was bought into the equation I might have stood a chance.

so I might buy some better tires or something... dunno yet.

I think you misunderstood my question. I know that if you complete 75% of GTC and get your licenses all gold in GTC that you can transfer 10,000,000cr and licenses to GT3.

My question was after this is done and you go into GT3 do you have bronze in all your licenses or gold.

I have since found the answer elsewhere which is bronze.

Basically. Gumpy, sorry about my attitude, I'll explain fully now: Once you have completed licenses - not necessarily gold, just complete them - you get a message saying that you can now transfer money and licenses from GTC to GT3. The option is in one of the little gift boxes below the Complete Status, I can't remember which one (I'll have a look a bit later), and once you select that it's got a button which you press, and it transfers all money and Bronze licenses (hey, if you want the cars you get for Gold, don't be such a slack-arse and do it yourself) into GT3, and viola, away you go.

That's for your benefit also, ving, I read what gumpy said about finding out elsewhere.

That's cool. I actually do want to get the licenses myself but each human has their limits and I was getting very frustrated.

You can have all of them if I get the Porsche.

The only other car in GT games that has grabbed my attention is the RX7. Don't really know why.

finishe licences (a, b, ai, bi)

going to do cote endurance in my fiat next (when i get a few hours spare (i never have spare time for endurance but will try)
