Sony likes doing cruel things like that, i woke up and for a laugh plugged my PS3 into internet, BAM you have a new software update to download!!

I run round doing victory laps of the house thinking i'm gonna have a great sunday just me and my wheel, come back install is done. Sweet as sign into PSN, waiting,waiting, MAINTENANCE,- "While we know you have waited patiently for us to restore our services we thought we would throw in this one last kick in the balls before you actually get your services back"

Apparently, it should be up in the UK by Monday according to an article on Videogamewriters.com:

Haha thanks but nah we are included in the initial list of countries to have it restored so hopefully sooner rather than later. Gotta be patient but sucks knowing i can't be killing 14 year olds on Bad Company2 or racing online with you lucky yanks

So, I installed the update, tried to sign in but still got the same "maintennance" thing. Is there something i'm doing wrong? Because as far as I know, having a US account on PSN, I should be able to get online, but I can't.
