PSN working fine in Illinois. First thing I did after updating everything I hopped on some black ops and destroyed some fools in gun game. Feels good man.
 
Not that I noticed. I don't think they've updated the seasonals yet. The Kei car race is still there and all that. Only thing is they've taken away the ending dates for the time being.

Don't forget that the Muscle Car Seasonals were made available just a few hours before PSN went down, most people haven't had a chance to do them yet.
 
I don't remember what all there was before PSN went down its been so long. All I remember is grinding that Kei car race to death. You may be right I think I do remember a muscle car race. I haven't checked it out yet I'll be playing call of duty all day.
 
And in a blinding piece of luck, just as the PSN service starts to come back up I get to go away with work for a week.

Oh well at least things should be (pretty much) back to normal by Friday.

I think you misunderstood my "in a good way" comment. I mean, I hope PSN comes online completely for everyone so the mods can ceremoniously kill this thread.

Then again maybe you guys wanna keep it up and discuss anonymou.....

EDIT: I actually tagged this thread because not only does it give up-to-date info (moreso than the ridiculous PS blog), it's quite entertaining. Like 15 pages since PSN came back anywhere :)

I would of thought you would have to sign in to change your password .
 
So, for those who are online now, how does it work? You just log in to your account and change the password?
 
That doesn't it will take 24 hours to send it, it'll be an automated system, they can be anything from seconds to hours, the 24 hour figure is used so people don't contact them because they've not received it within minutes.

Are you serious? I didn't see anything about that. My main account I was allowed to change my password then and there on the console. My secondary account however told me an e-mail would be sent, and that's the account I want to use. If it takes 24 hours I'll be pissed.

you sign in and they ask you to change the password, just the password, no questions, no mail nothing. you digit the new password , submit and than login.
