Am I the only one who cannot even get his account's password reset?

They keep emailing me and whenever I click the link I get this:

Site Maintenance Notice

The server is currently down for maintenance.

We apologize for the inconvenience. Please try again later.

Haven't I told you the trick to get all of the games? I've already have 3 previous PSN accounts so when I download I download 2 from each and use my European account to download the remaining different one offered in the uk..

Big bonus: everyone here who has a free PS+ month subcription will get a early access to Uncharted 3 multiplayer BETA at the 28th of June!!!!!!!

So you have to stay a Playstation Plus member to keep the stuff(free games i mentioned).

Ok then, i knew there was a catch.Well at least we get 2 free games.👍

There are notable exceptions.

Avatars and Themes that are free ONLY for PS+ members you will get to keep even if you stop using PS+. In addition, any games or DLC that you buy at a discounted PS+ price you get to keep no matter what. This can be a great deal for those who only want to use PS+ occasionally as some PS+ discounts are as much as 75% less than the standard store prices, but most are about 50% or less.

BTW: You get two free games per account, so if you have three accounts you can get all five/ten of the free PS3/PSP games.

Thanks.

I appreciate the additional info on this. 👍

Just got an email from Sony, most of it was boring but one section stood out:

Fraud Protect

In addition, Identity Protection Experts at Affinion International Limited are offering eligible PlayStation Network and Qriocity™ account holders one year's free membership to Fraud Protect. Full details of Fraud Protect and eligibility conditions can be found at www.fraudprotect.co.uk. Offer available for 60 days.

We’ve made a number of additional security improvements to PSN – visit eu.playstation.com/psnlatest and PlayStation.Blog at blog.eu.playstation.com for the latest updates.

Only applicable to UK residents I assume.

According to the PS Blog.

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2011/06/06/ps3-system-software-update-v3-65/
Earlier tonight we released an optional system software update (v3.65) for PlayStation 3. This new firmware improves the operating stability of some PS3 format software, and changes the XMB item SaveData Utility (minis) to [SaveData Utility(minis/PSP)].

Again, this update is optional, and can be downloaded by selecting System Update from the Setting column of the XMB.

From the New York Times: http://www.nytimes.com/2011/06/11/technology/11hack.html?_r=1&hp

The Spanish police said Friday that they had arrested three suspected computer hackers in connection with recent cyberattacks on Sony’s PlayStation Network as well as corporate and government Web sites around the world.

The arrests have dismantled the local leadership of the shadowy international network of computer hackers known as Anonymous, which has claimed responsibility for a wide variety of attacks, the National Police said in a statement.

Full article above.

That's cool that the new update is optional, but what happens when a new update is released? Will this one become manditory? Or will there always be an update waiting in the hopper on everyones PS3, that everyone is avoiding?
