Yes that was me back later.
I'm working on getting a car tuned for this event as I type...the 430 feels solid so far. This is likely one of the best events to date, especially with the large selection of cars and lack of RBE. I'm just glad the RBE is gone...it really makes driving some of the RWD cars on S2's a handful in a race when using the 6-axis...at least for me personally. Knowing where the cars consistant limit is helps SO much for me when using the controller. With the 6-axis it is so much easier to predict the cars limit, rather than trying to react to it.
I'm looking foward to some great battles with you guys...
Is there anyone at this? Going in at :18.
Wow! Fantastic race mr_VOLCANO! 👍 Sorry for my little early braking at the t1.
Well I think haven't even played any other event since the update. And since I created this thread, I stopped doing the standard also. But then again I don't play that much these days.
Trying to get a good tune out of the 430 too. But I'm stuck between easy drive but slowish tune (1.15 lap time), or a faster but not so much and throwing me off the track at the slightest mistake tune...
Think I'm gonna consult a specialist! Hey Paulie, where are you?
Yeah, it's just too bad this isn't a world event.
Thanks for the race ripping_silk.
I got a failed to connect at xx:48, really sorry about that. It happened to me earlier too, that was my only race tonight.
Yeah, I botched every single lap too, not one below 2'15. Considering my average time in it is mid 2'14s and my best 2'14.0.
don't apologise.. happens all the time ! all mine were mid 15's.. but the handling caught me out first few turns. first time I've driven the m3. I couldn't keep up anyway.. you were inching away.. .. in fact flying away on the uphill right toward spoon...
The NSX still slightly quicker for me, but harder to tame. i spent a little time trying to get it behaving... didn't really get there
Good luck trying to find an NSX tune that's forgiving! I have one that I'm sure will run 2'11's (best currently a 2'12.2)... suspension settings from memory (Minimum weight, power set to give 600PP)...
Ride -20 -25
Spring 2 9
Damper 2 8
Toe -0.37 +0.50 (thanks to Timo for these as they are from an old tune of his)
Camber 1.5 2.5
IMO, the NSX is only really suitable for wheel/pedal users as requires some throttle to be on almost all the time to balance the lift off oversteer... oh, and it's very oversteery on the throttle too... in other words, it pretty much oversteers everywhere. But get it right and it's incredibly rewarding to drive
Just seeing this event, sounds great. I'd much rather be racing 600PP if we're on S2's. Will be trying this schedule out tonight with the ol M3, hopefully some NTSC players out there tonight.
Im coming to race now in my NSX. Getting xx:12's at the minute. Anyone racing?
Great racing with you PrudentBear, extremely clean! Looks like that M3 was giving you grief
All the best

Likewise, always a pleasure. M3 needs more work but now I've got in the NSX you might have to prise me out of it - such a good car.
Hahaha nooooooo!! I HATE that car! I still have nightmares of Timo, Zabeu, Honeycar, Tameturtle and Truth123 shadowing up to my bumper and stealing wins off me...that annoying car is faster EVERYWHERE! As soon as I saw you and Jack in the NSX in my last race I knew it was game over.
Argh where's my WRX when I need it
I tell you, this event brings back a lot of memories....
All the best
