211.636 following FAK_Evil in his 600pp Clio. Best without slip is 2'12.4xx, In @ XX:03. 👍

2'11.334 in the clio following AERO_HDT in his tuned Corvette 650pp . He said the tried to pull away on that lap, but couldn't.
Fastest lap without a toe is 2'12.324, also in the clio, although I had a little slipstream from mr_VOLCANO coming out of the chicane just before the start of that lap. He stayed with me throughout the lap, so his laptime should have been about the same.

Anyone else having trouble getting into a race?

I haven't been able to connect to the host in 3 of the last 5 races I started. In an other 1 I was the only 600pp car and in only 1 of those 5 I was together with mr_VOLCANO.

Whoa Sarlech, haven't seen you around for aaaaaages! I remember the last time you were around was during the original Suz 600PP hotlap competition..again in STi!

I was messing with my F430 tune last night to see if I could make it suit me a little more than DC's magic skills already managed, and I managed to improve my laptimes by a considerable amount lowering the rear height from +2 to 0 and adding 0.2 to front and rear camber. I found I was able to carry a bit more speed through corners and managed a 2'12.5xx in draft.

Others like Dan and mr_V were doing 2'12s in free air, but the difference is they're quicker than me anyway

My apologies to everyone too. I didn't realize that the times me and Energiya were racing at were for 600PP races. I didn't pay attention to the fine print on this thread! For the most part yesterday afternoon though, 75% of the matchups were just me and Energiya alone and the other 25% only involved one other person.

Good to see you back Sarlech old buddy, I've missed the days of Audi versus Subi @ Suzuka!

Thanks about racing with me Volcano, Sinsemila and Bollocks, even I was only a moving chicane to you with that M3.

It would be very boring test-session to me if you would just go in to the landscape. I hope you took me like practise-session, 'how to pass slower guy, with defensing lines' cause that was all I could do.

After tomorrows 'Bond-race', I will take vehicle what fits better for me, and give you more challenge.

Not so many drivers out here tonight, but had a good race with Prudentbear, a few more with a Portugese guy in a red clio and during the last hour I finally encountered some more drivers.
It was great fun chasing your NSX and F430, Jukka and Matt!

You guys didn't bother me none, it was nice to have the 650 PP guys actually capable of keeping ahead for once.

I'm gonna be best in the bond race, i have my car tuned to hide in the sand!!!

Except the idea is to win a race, not catch the bad guys (punters?).

Hi Sonny! yeh i miss them races we had too, pure brilliance they were!👍

hopefully we have some more soon! i still need to get used to the physics change, my Sub loves the trailbraking into turn one and two! i need to perfect that still, so i most definately need to sort that out before i can give you a proper challenge. haha

Well I usually get this really bad feeling that lasts all day, starts around 9am and ends at 5pm. Sometimes it gets a bit better between 12 and 1pm. It totally stops me racing. I also have to curtail my racing earlier than I would like in preparation for this feeling because I know I have to prepare for its onslaught the coming day...

Jumped into the 650PP event last night - my first time in GT5P for a while (been in F1CE & FC for the last couple of months). Picked up my trusty Clio & was absolutely hopeless. Ok, I was out of practice & I was having terrible problems with my G25 shifter:

I was all over the place & several seconds a lap off the pace of the Evos in the race. I don't remember being that disadvantaged in the old 600PP Suzi event (which I think was on S2s also), where I could stay with all but the fastest AWD drivers. When I tried an Evo, which I have barely ever driven before, I was immediately a couple of seconds a lap faster - the driving was 50% easier.

Have the updates increased the advantage of AWD, or am I missing something here?

I'd like to do the 600PP RWD only event, but here in N.A. there doesn't seem to be anyone participating...
