CyberPunk 2077

Recently rebought the game for my PS5 after having it on my Xbox sinch launch. Stopped playing it on the Xbox as I encountered a glitch that completely stopped me from completing a mission as the main character I needed to interact with fell into the floor . The difference between the PS5 and Series S is more than I thought it would be, plus it's been through 2-3 years of updates since I last played so I'm sure that's definitely helped in some regard.

Decided to just build into what my last character was since I never got to finish the game. Female build going for Intelligence and Technical ability for the most part. Slowly getting used to some of the bigger changes to building your character but it's not overwhelming at all.

Went back to the game after not playing it much since Christmas and (like a lot of these open world story games) I had a real struggle picking up again where I left off.

Decided to go back to the beginning and combine the bits I liked most from my last 2 characters, so this new one is a Corpo assassin - all throwing knives, silenced pistols and a few support hacks.

As I'm a bit fed up of GT7 at the moment and trying to avoid getting sucked into Helldivers, this is going to be my main game for a while and I hope to actually finish it this time.

This is essentially why I didnt want to activate my crossave. Too many changes and such a long gap between the last time I picked it up that I figured it would just be best to start completely over, even though I was a good many, many hours into my last file.

Free 5 hour trial available this weekend

I have a week off work, am determined to finish the game and Phantom Liberty.

The vehicle mods are super impressive.

Loading up an old save after 5 months of not playing

i have no memory of this place GIF

The platinum would take too much work, but I'd like to finish the grind up to level 60 before Johnny and I finally storm Arasaka.

(By grind, I of course mean going on the rollercoaster)

I’ll be checking this out for sure. I’ve been getting the itch to play this game again with some different mods, but I wanted to wait until I upgraded my gpu.

Damn, I just uninstalled it yesterday to make room for Indiana Jones. I doubt it’s going to be something super significant, since in theory they are focusing on other games for a while.

Please can they wait until I’ve finished my playthrough. I’m nearly done, up to level 55 now. Just a few more gigs to clear and then I’ll go to Embers.

honestly Cyberpunk 2077 is a good game now and I don't think it needs anymore updates lol. I'd much rather them be focusing on the Witcher 4 or 2078, whatever the next game will be, because this generation of consoles really needs more games badly over updated previous-gen ones.

Mostly vehicle and character customisation. Some new cars. Photo mode upgrade.

Might want to avoid the update for now, especially if you’re on Xbox and have Phantom Liberty. Devs celebrating the anniversary by reliving the buggy disaster of the original release.

You're in luck then

Most of this Cyberpunk update work was done by a support studio, the main teams have moved on.
