Even Schamacher put in a decent performance for once! That will give him a serious confidence boost when it comes to driving like he rightly deserves to be! I was always sceptical about wether he made the right choice in making a come-back, but yesterday showed he made the right decision. Proper nose to tail racing, unreal weather, hell, this is how EVERY F1 race needs to be :P

I loved seeing Seb under pressure on that last lap, Button breathing down his neck, you could really see him ringing the RBR through the corners, and even got a little sideways - which is when I started to wonder if he was perhaps trying a little too hard......

With regards to our own championship, firstly, I wanna apologise to Mcglone - I bumped you into the gravel trap the other night at Autumn Ring, pure mistake, and I know you were annoyed, sorry dude, honest mistake, I should have been paying more attention, you braked a little earlier than I was expecting haha :P

Secondly, did I read somewhere that HMSMotorsport wanted to postpone the first race until Tuesday, when he is back from Le Mans? He better sling up some great shots! Otherwise I vote that he starts last of every race this season!!

That or we start without him! I just wanna race, and get some points down, even if I'm not gonna be up the top of the leaderboard.......

What do you say guys???

For the F1 , i know. What is on my mind the most is we haven't seen Vettle overtake much. To be honest i think he is rather weak at that. Compared to Lewis or Jenson who go for it. Well Lewis looks up to Senna and you can tell he's doing the same risky move. Jenson is the careful and easy one. Next race will be interesting. It's also great to see vettle not win for once. In a way i also wanted Schamacher to win but then again i didn't.

As for the race. Understandable. I braked early because everyone goes out wide. I wanted to dive in the inside but also I didn't want to brake too late. It's forgiven! ;)

I might be about later, but it won't be for another hour or so, if thats too late mate?

I would of loved to see MSC on the podium in place of Webber, that would of been the perfect race! With regards to Vettel overtaking, it's never seen because he always starts first, or on the odd occasion, 2nd, and is leading by the first corner.....

Exactly put him a few places back, i think he will start to struggle.

But the Red Bull's qualifying pace is just unreal, so either Vettel has to make a mistake or 5 drivers have to put in some ridiculous laps. I can't see either happening right now, however hopefully the rule changes at Silverstone might upset things a bit :)

As for our championship, did anything happen tonight?

i couldn't make it tonight, but i will definately be online tuesday night, hopefully things will start moving along?

Nudge nudge hint hint people!! Hehe

No probs. Will follow with interest :)

Impossible to join when Frag's friends list is full. Just make it a public room?

Friends list cleared up now, unfortunately had huge lag issues myself again tonight, hopefully it wont happen when the points become involved :s

One question... Where is team Yeti-Tech Racing??
Didn't see them in our practice sessions since PSN returned.

And HMS... You better have some pics to show us from La Sarthe. :sly:
It must have been great to attend such an epic race.

^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ What this man said!!! Speaking of which, you guys that were on tonight, it's a shame you left, you missed Kamy finish a race in last place! Makes me feel a bit better about myself knowing I'm not the only one to loose races haha :D

Team Honda Mugen is looking like they have a greatcar now :).. i tested it out kickstart and it is just so great to drive and fast :embarrassed:

I still can't believe i kept up with the honda's round Monza last night. A big battle with me and mole, then with kickstart. Also kamy was involved as well. Rather impressed. Finished 3rd. soo yeah ;)

One question to Kickstart... I noticed one thing with your car last night. That crazy rear camber. Is it helpfull or just for looks, BTCC style?? :)

Well i can answer that for bmw maybe.. I don't have a crazy rear camber but mine is at 4.5 to 5 and i can do alot better than if it was at 0 so it must work in some way. It mostly comes down the personal preference really i think.

Adding high camber makes the car more agile, not just because of the obvious, more contact patch mid-turn thing. But also due to the wheel angle, there is a lot less tire hitting the road at the rear, so the rear will become more unstable, this will usually increase "turn-in" this will normally become stable quickly as the tire eventually makes full contact with the road mid-turn though.

This is a massive benefit to FF cars, because they have no rear drive to cause any type of oversteer.
hence why you see it in Touring Cars :)

Well, that's how I understand it :) .

Thanks for the info welsh.
I tried it in my integra yesterday and it felt wierd. And harder to brake, specially on turn 1 at GVE.
Need to give it another try.
At least kickstart's car looks like a proper btcc like that.
