This is fail. Room went up 50mins ago, but still can't join because we're using someone's private lounge who most of us aren't friends with... Seriously, I know it involves kicking randoms every now and then, but public rooms are SO much easier...
 
He made the room and then went, you could of still joined...
Don't complain when you didn't even check
We use lounges because the connection is better, it's not hard just to send someone a friend request
 
...If frag is offline, then the lounge is no longer his, so we can't join if the new host is not on our friends list. Please give more/better info next time - room number if its public, or a PSN Name that we should add. That's all.

Really losing my patience with this. 👎
 
Sorry about the inconvenience guys, everyone in the BTCC series should have me on psn by now. We should also have a second 'lounge host' who everyone adds.

We have tried and tried again using public lobbies and the connection is JUST not good enough. Lounges also allow anyone who is off-track to change room settings which is handy.

Andil I added you ages ago but you denied the request, I then added you again successfuly so you could join. You are still on my friends list so there is no reason why you shouldn't have been able to get into the room.
 
So confused. Were you online? Because from 7 till 11 tonight I saw you as offline (not on GT5 or PSN at all) hence couldn't join. Was it just some bug/psn being rubbish tonight? :\
 
As has been said, if Frag starts the room then leaves the room is no longer his.

Whoever is first in line then becomes the new owner, you mentioned dragon, who is this? The only person on my psn who was online last night was kammy and he wasn't in a lounge.

I don't know how were ment to join if know one on our list is in the lounge, I have frag, hms and kammy and maybe 1 other but I still couldn't join! :(

It's just frustrating for those who want to join the lounge but can't.

Once this finally gets up and running I'm sure it will be fine (providing it actually is still going ahead)
 
Its been a long time coming, but today is D-Day!! Can anybody please tell us what time things are kicking off tonight?
 
Right, me and Dave have taken the last minute decision to change cars. We found that due to the weight of the BMW, there was no room for us to make changes to our setups.

Therefore, we'll be using Ford Focus ST's instead, painted red with champange wheels. Also, we can't exactly run under the team name BMW Alpina, so we'll be changing that to Ford Racing Develpoments.

So, to make it easier for HMS to edit the first post:

I wont be there for the first round if this indded start today, but since current organizer hadn't been around I won't bet it will start today.
If it starts, then I'll have a handicap. I'll need to catch you guys in the standings. :sly:
 
If it doesn't go ahead tonight we need to set the date now, so that everyone has plenty of notice and hopefully all can make it. Otherwise this will continue for a long time.

No points awarded but it's recommended you turn up ;)
First race is next Monday!

Could priesty, kammy and mcglone contact their team mates to make sure their still in :D
