I still think...

GTP BTCC Logo ftw.

The lower flag lets it down a bit. But it's awesome xD

Knight Spirit
shame :(
Was good racing tonight lads, first race of the season is next monday at 9!
Could priesty, kammy and mcglone contact their team mates to make sure their still in :D

My team mate was on last night, I sent him a psn asking him to join but he didn't.

I no longer wish to have him as a team mate, as jarjar(or whatever it was) was on and asking for a team he can join mine if that's ok?

First of all. Sorry for the mess yesterday. I was driving really bad. I needed to rest. :)

Now. I was reading again the OP and a couple of questions.

1st: +45 Kg
2nd: +36 Kg
3rd: +27 Kg
4th: +18 Kg
5th: +9 Kg
6th or lower: 0 Kg

There will be no accumulation of success ballast weight.

This ballast will remain on your car until you finish in a different position at the end of a race*uncomfirmed
Will the balast be added from race 1 to race 2 in the same week, or from round to round, meaning we do a average of best results in the 2 races and put the ballast next week's round??
Each round will consist of:

10min qualifying session
6 Lap Sprint race

10min qualifying session
15 lap feature race with compulsory pit stop. - DSQ if no pit stop is made

Aren't we using reverse grid to race 2??

The ballast only stays for the round ;)

We only decided we were doing reverse grid yesterday, it does work well as it mixes up the results

OK, let me know if that changes though as I often see drivers pull out a race or 2 into a series.

Thanks 👍

Will do ;)
We're doing some more racing in frags lounge, join guys

Edit: He's left, I'll do a room tommorow instead

What time is this room goin up

Also anybody else's car have different stats since the update? I've lost 5bhp :/

sounds like its just a coincidence mate, and that really you have just driven your car way too much! Have you recently done an oil change, or an engine rebuild? If not, it sounds like you need one just to keep it in tip top condition! :)

Was fun tonight. Except wet monza :P

Tbh I can understand wanting to slow the integra down, its quick in a straight line, but it eats its tyres much more than any other car!

However, S1 turbo + 1200kg was too much imo. Was getting swamped by you guys on the exit of corners, even with a low gear ratio, nothing more I could do. I only came 2nd at Grand Valley because most others crashed with damage. I crashed early on, but had no damage. Otherwise, the car was slow (2s per lap slower, and tbh, jimmy was only a few tenths off my pace before the turbo change - so 2s is way too much!)

We should run S2 + 1200kg imo. Then we'd be at 499pp, but wouldnt see the advantage of the bigger turbo.

Also, when running the 330i I was much quicker at Cape Ring, but ran the other races (deep forest, etc) with damage for most of the race so couldn't tell. But what i'm saying is that I could go just as quick in a 330i (and kamy in a 207), but we keep those cars the same. Just worried about slowing the integra too much - yes its quick over 1 lap, but struggles with tyre wear on a long run.

/ramble :P

I havent been around much so you guys havent seen me (It's Jimmy)

I'm just getting used to grip racing again so just wait for when my pace does get back to what it was ;) The Teggies can have what they want.. i'll destroy them :@ lol

Bring it on Jimmy. :)
Well... If you and Frag weren't so focused in destroying each other you might have been faster yesterday.
I was behind you guys in Deep Forest and I was :scared: to overtake you. :sly:

i suggest doing more tests first before we make our minds up. Race pace of the honda's is actually a bit slow. The reason i kept up partly on rome and monza last week is because i was slip streaming. But that also means making no mistakes :')

in my opinion (and it is only my opinion lol) we've done plenty of testing, and i'm more than happy with how things are at the moment, integras, civics, 135's and mx5's have all won races, so i'd be happy to leave things as they are and just get on with the championship!

I meant it with the new regulations for the Integras. Because it made everything far more close. (Not that it isn't already)
Making it fair is key.

Did somebody mention new regulations? Do fill me in please :)

Yesterday the majority decided we should try to cap the Integras even more, Mole jumped into a 330i and run away with 1st spot in first race he tried at cape ring (a track both me and my team mate don't quite like), I did 2nd best time of the qualify in a 207 and after a poor start was going trhough the field and was 3rd before a major accident ended the race:), yet people think me and my team mate are only fast because of the car we're driving. :grumpy:
That sums it up.

I thought this whole whining about the integra was sorted a few weeks ago when me and mole we're battling for 1st?

I mean the honda's are quick but it seriously comes down the driver. I mean i even kept up with them. The only way to is to not make any mistakes. I don't have a problem with them just makes me try to go even faster. But soon as there ahead it's a pretty hard fight getting it back.

Another thing most are missing. What about the longer races? I know for a fact that bmw's are pretty good with there tyres but on the other hand honda's eat the tyres, can't say about the rest but that seriously says it all.

Kammy that 207 was was slow and an under steering pig lol. I was all over you, finally set up the overtake and *BANG*.. Chris ends the race lol

On the street tracks the Honda is horrible with it's tyres but anywhere else it's a pretty good car on tyre wear :)
