The ps3 is great in the winter with its heater-effect... was really not fun today. Had to get out of the room to cool down after that. Good racing though!

1-2 for Team Six Stop Strategy in both races, well happy :D - though wasn't easy! Had to fend off jimmy in the Civic for all of the sprint race, with a great win for Kamy, and had to push really hard to jump HMS through the pit stops to win the feature race with Kamy close behind too.

1200kg, S2 Turbo, can't remember the power (353 maybe?), but was 499PP.

I actually got passed down the straight by Jimmy's Civic, while I was in Kamy's slipstream :) - So, I think the car is ok :P

Actually the Focus was the fastest in straight line speed.

EDIT: In feature race in my first stint managed to save tires and did my best lap in that stint the lap befor I pited.

My Civic IS fast but moleman done well to fend me off and because i was driving agressively I couldnt keep the tyres. Then the second race, wellllll. I'm not happy about being nudged of damaged, getting back on the track and getting nudged off instantly (looked deliberate) and ruined my race.

I think the Integra's are fast but given the opportunity I can keep up with them! I would have had Moleman and probably Kammy if they werent using team tactics because my race pace was fast. After my pit on the second race i was gaining you guys 2.5 seconds a lap! Then my tyres wore down quickly haha! All in all a good and bad race :) Some drivers need to pay attention and as funny as some crashes may be, we are being serious about this not just doing it so we can smash into each other! The fun is to be had inthe cleanliness of the race

Yeah. It was a great fight jimmy. Too bad second race didn't went well for you.
May I say there was too much corner cutting at the last chicane. People were going for it too much.:nervous:

Watch the replay back dude. I had front damage, which with a DS3 is impossible to drive with wobbling down the track. I tried giving you room but then the crappy/laggy crash physics came into play and decided to push you off track. Then as you came back on I wobbled left at the same time and we had a bigger contact. Just badly timed, unfortunately.

I thought if you got past me in Race 1 that you would have had the pace to go for the win, jimmy, hence the heavy defending - glad that you agree, makes my defensive efforts worthwhile! :P But great racing, appreciate the clean and fast driving! 👍

Shame about race 2 for you, would have been fun to continue where we left off. Next time! :)

FIRST POST UPDATED WITH RESULTS

There are a couple of warnings in there but don't worry too much. Officials decision is final and I don't want to hear any arguing of cases. I made these calls based on what I saw.

Also if anyone thinks i'm being unfair please note I have also given myself a penalty for poor race-craft

Yea the warning you got was for lap 1 of race 1 where you hit kickstart and then tapped me causing us both to go into the wall and generally aggressive driving

Cally_Dave in race 2 was basically using other cars to help round a corners and generally aggressive driving

HMSMotorsport (Myself) on lap 11 race 2 I cut the chicane and overtook kickstart

I am happy to provide photo evidence however the decisions will still stand. I wouldn't worry its only a warning.

1st: +45 Kg
2nd: +36 Kg
3rd: +27 Kg
4th: +18 Kg
5th: +9 Kg
6th or lower: 0 Kg

There will be no accumulation of success ballast weight.

This ballast will remain on your car until you finish in a different position at the end of a race*uncomfirmed

So Mole will have 45 Kg, me 36, HMS 27 and so on right??
I'll try and test it next couple of days to see the difference in performance, and to see if thats enough.

Beautiful update on the op i have to say

Managed to nab myself a half decent place and +0 ballast for races 3 and 4 :D

I think the one thing that needs to brought up is;

If you pass un-cleanly, resulting in a disadvantage To the other driver, PLEASE let them back past as a priority. If their are other cars closely behind, try not to cause a crash with them when re-joining the racing line. I think this would help solve some arguments througout the series.

And keep in mind that the driver in front has the right of way. Jimmy, i'm sorry that you got a bit annoyed on that contact round corner 1, I was taking my normal line, and you expected me to alter it in order to anticipate your attempt at passing. You should only really cut inside if your opponent has run wide, and is clear from contact. No harm intended mate ;).

Chris.

1pt wooo lol

Not a good start for me yesterday (not a fan of that track) but was still lots of fun.

Was suprised tho to here some complaints about my driving, I can't recall me having any major issues with anybody and the fact I haven't got a warning would suggest that aswell?

Great racing guys :)

yeah priesty you were dive bombing into some corners lol.. Knight spirit got the brute force in race 2 from what i remember lol... managed to get away with no damage though

Yeah, looking back at it, the way the first 4 corners are on the GP/D track they leave cars bunched up and side by side, which is where all the outbraking yourself/blocking/mayhem comes from! Hopefully the Suzuka esses will get us more or less in a decent single file line after the first corner.

this is true, which is why for the first few laps i for one was taking extra care to be a bit cautious with braking/turn in points, and almost constantly checking behind and to each side of me to make sure I wasn't about to cut someone up or drive into the side of them. shame a few more people don't think like that and instead try and win the race on the first corner..

A little race report from me. :)

Round 1

Had a great battle with jimmy and Mole in the first laps. After I got in front with my team mate behind me I was able to pull up a gap, with some help from Mole. :sly:
Then nurse it till the checkered flag trying to not abuse the tires.

Round 2

I started last and started bad. My foot got loose from the brake 2 secs from the start so I get a penalty from jump start. Got muged in first couple of laps, as my car was used as an aiding for brake. :yuck:

Really amazed I managed to survive that without damage.
Went through the field as some drivers eleminated eachother. It's a 15 laps. No need to be so agressive.
Got to 3rd behind my team mate while HMS was in the lead. When Mole pitted I knew I should followed him, but decided to keep 1 more lap as my tires were still good and did my best lap so far, but Mole was flying in new tires and managed to grew the gap to me.
HMS pitted to late, making 10 laps in same tires I think and getting out of pits in 3rd. He may have keep 2nd or maybe 1st if he pited same lap as Mole.
After all pit stops I tried to push but Mole and I had similar pace at that moment so I settled for 2nd and nurse it home.

Good weekend to team Six Stop Strategy.👍

How do you check to the side of you? Change view or use wing mirrors?

One of the bad things with the RS is that because it's a standard i have to use the bumper cam, because of this I have restricted views to either side of me.

Oh and roll on London :/

You can set map scale to 1 or 2 in options while driving. I use 2, and with that and mirrors I can see ppl behind.

Brilliant night last night I must say, although I would like to see the pictures of me using other people to get round corners? I honestly don't remember it happening??????

Looking forward to the next race too :D

BTW, our team name is Ford Racing Developments - not team Rufus :)

What did everyone think when *scaggygoat? Was kicked and came back to watch and provide info on tires etc?

I thought it was pretty cool, kinda like your pit wall crew giving you all the race info, be cool if we could get someone to do it on a perm basis I reckon
