Alex that video is awesome! Would love to drive the Nürburg in the next 2/5 years. Will make a trip of it, maybe as part of a photography project I could get to Germany for a week.

If you come in 4-5 years I could show you the Ring 👍 then I should have my Driving license and a own car :sly:

C20LET?? That was fitted to the cavalier turbo and the Calibra Turbo if I'm right. also used with the Getrag F28/6 Box. I know my vauxhalls lol. with those Gearboxes, the only modding you need for rwd is rip the front driveshafts out lol. but for rwd in the nova you'd be chopping up a prop and totally modding the rear end.. big job!

It's a common but very good swap for a Nova considering it weighs the same as a pint of milk. I'd say do it!

I really am tempted to do it one day. I knew you would burst out with this knowledge. Also there was something about fuel pipes and a list of other things that had to be changed.

Still when it's done it will be pretty quick!

:D Would probably road-trip there, if I have a decent car by then that is. If not then I'll hold you to that offer!

It requires a better fuel pump, ofcourse 1 of the calibra turbo would do fine! There not expensive. All the fuel lines etc, youcould do whatever you with them there not the problem. You could run them on the floor on the inside for all you wanted.

With a turbo engine ther comes the responsibility of chopping up front ends to fit in intercoolers and modifying the chassis a bit. Also the mounts etc, not sure what they are like but considering its a totally different chassis.. Re-work on the engine mounts will need done and the sub frame also. Probably a re-route of the exhaust too.

You'd think I do this for a living...

P.S. Sean, stop posting in the Blitz thread.. NAOW!!!

Haha. Yep. You would think that aye ;)
Only been a mechanic for 4-5 months and wants to do this. LOL good luck to me. Either way i'll have fun doing this.
