Yeah, and I will have a prop to sell for pennies on E-bay :D.. Seen the drawings for the new Bentley SUV Concept? I feel sick looking at it! You left school and got a job as an apprentice yet Alex ;)

Aww lucky you! I'm swept off my feet with work atm. Got an original Murcielago from 2002 in tomorrow for a gearbox swap and I need to trust the apprentice with doing a wishbone and 2 top arms on the front of a S8. Not a good day to be trusting people with said jobs, they can be a pain in the ass doing them!

Its wearing the outside of the driver's side tire far to fast and has some bad steering vibration at about 60mph upwards. I think its a bent brake disk as the brakes have got worse aswell. The joys of owning an old car :sly:

you mean a warped disc? That can only physically shake the car when the brake is applied. I'm not being funny, but have you checked the wheel nuts are all tight? sounds like a mix of dodgy brakes and a possible wheel weight imbalance. Any knocks when you go over a bump or something?

Oh aye, and the tracking will be off on the track rod if it is wearing more than it should, thats obvious!

No its fine over bumps just rides harshly cause of the coilovers and the wheel nuts are all tight, dads taking it to a mechanic who's currently fixing his Omega so it will be sorted soon.

Oh god well there's your flippin problem. Your brakes are jaked and the Coilovers aren't fitted right. Like I said, a warped disc will only shudder the car under braking. The Coilover setup is off if it's ripping your tyres apart or like I said, you need the tracking done.

here's my 3 Professional possible options ;).

1. Tracking
2. Coilover setup is jaked
3. Wheel Weights are missing and that's your shudder (Most likely for the shuddering)

And my 1 definate for the brakes is that they are needing something free'd off or changed.

And ofcourse, I'd need to kick the tyre!.

I know it was looked after by a guy who worked for forge motorsport so hopefully the suspension is good but i'll get it all looked at. I think the prime candidate is tracking , but once this issue is sorted its all in good health ;)

Ermmm no , the insurance for this is expensive enough . Its so bad that you can get some crazy nice cars for about 2k but the insurance comes out at like 10k :(

Go and get a job as an apprentice in a small garage and then you will be sorted on insurance ;)

I'd give you a job but the travelling is maybe a bit of an issue.

Zed I'm gonna drop my right testicle on your top lip! don't be a budgiebaw and call my car a cock :(

haha shut up Zed! My wheel's are kinda the same but Matte Black... Anytime this week! :D

I lol'd so hard at this. Particularly the milky nickers hahahahaa

Yo Jimmy guess what ? Just had the tracking done on the golf and you were right , which ever idiot put the suspension on they set it up wrong ;) Had 12mm positive camber on drivers side and too much toe in on passenger side. All fixed now though just needs some new front tyres :)

It's no gonna make your brakes feel bad through the pedal. Did they get taken apart and cleaned etc?
