On the plus side, it seems the moderators are not being lazy and completely ignoring the drifting section like they have been for the past 6 months or so ;)
 
Im still active :) , and on another note my sexy golf has arrived. A MK2 1.3 3dr , it has damn near perfect body work , the underneath is near perfect and the engine runs sweet as a nut :)

Wow jimmy youre lucky you only got away with some scratches it looks like a terrible crash.. I had some injuries and still got scars when I was a passenger and my cousin crashed while trying to overtake a truck lmao. Im laughin at it as well lmao.. the funniest part was that he only thought about what his and my parents were gonna say lol. It was a mercedes E55 from his dad.


Edit : Nice golf btw! It looks like its in good state. Oldschool ftw.

Congrats on passing your test man, seems like many moons ago when I passed mine (7 years?). Nice motor too, looks like it's been very well looked after. Just don't 'do a jimmy' in it now!

Do you mind me asking what the insurance was like?

Alex. I know a young lad who has one of these. Deep dish alloys (Sticker Bombed), slammed to the floor, sprayed white and sticker bombed. It looks awesome! It was a cover car for fast mag or something. I'll get the link soon for you :)
 
Thanks everyone , the insurance at the minute is gonna be fairly pricey due to me being a young lad. £3k is about the best quote i've had but im gonna shop around for a better one :) . The car cost £1000 but that's a bargain to be honest , a mk2 3dr golf shell is worth good money on its own and this one is in minty condition ;)

You guys been online much anyway? ill be on possibly tomorrow for an hour or 2 later on. Up at edinburgh again then home tomorrow then away to dundee on saturday :( so i wont have alot of time to come for a bit of DORIFTOOOOO :P

Got my quote for the Fiesta and i must say. i got alot more than expected considering it should be void due to having an ECU tune and "Sports Exhaust" lol..

Touring cars isn't happening for a while and people are busy...
Me, Alex, kotkas, ceratoz and snipez have all been on this last week, maybe you should be more pro-active and join when we have a server up, have you even added me?
 
Guys, Nathan and I were talking this evening about doing a battle on sunday. Either we find a team to battle or just do some inhouse battles on sunday evening?
 
Part of my request is sshaping up to be a team meet on sunday. Not really a competition, but im gonna have several lobbies where members of different teams will join members of others and get to know each other. More details in a bit, still ironing out the details. Hit me up if your interested.

We'll happily have a battle with you. but Its a friendly as no one competed before so we want experience more than any thing else. Is suzuka d1 good for you guys we're doing a team of 6 and spokes person. I'm afraid i don't know any judges so you'll have to sort that out
