Yeah. Deeg and Mamaghi disappeared during the qualifying results screen for me, they turned into empty spaces. Guess I could of reconnected and pulled off till everybody passed by or something for Race 2. Kinda weird to since I could see them till as soon as the result list came up.

For a game that likes to promote its online aspect, its online experience isn't that stable is it?
You shouldn't have to do a roll call before a race to tell who you can or cannot see. I would think the ability to see all the cars on the track would be a criteria in the real driving simulator!

@CDCELTIC - It used to be that if you couldn't see them they couldn't see you either. But this has changed recently and it's not always the case. You can sometimes push an invisible car off the track without even realising it - and get blamed for something you have no control over. It's happened to me.

Regarding the standings, but a bit of an error for 3 of my sets of points seeing as how I've made every race so far. I know I'm not going to be a threat for the championship, but I'd like credit for the races at least.

Sorry mate, there were visibility problems, my replay race 1 is corrupted.

New data - you finished race 1 on 7th place. Results and points will be updated.

Thank you IfAndOr for solving the mistery :)

Anyway we can have qualifying changed to run seperate? A lot of bumping goes on here and that is not acceptable during qualifying. It's all fun and games, but it is not fun to be impeded and or knocked off the track. Apricot was a joke for qualifying. I was coming up on people and they were blocking me like it was a race. Couldn't get one lap in without getting hit or blocked on a hot lap. My qualifying lap time was comprised of trying to get around an Audi blocking me for the entire last sector and I'd reduced at least a five second gap from the beginning of my lap to the beginning of the last sector. If he didn't know in was coming up on him hard, something is wrong.

Hi,

It is changed to start from pit, so you can go out bit later.
More tactical too, just like in real life.
For fastest lap there are more variables - drivers.
Also you can see other drivers style and pace, make things easier during the race.

If "quali - race together" is a problem for more drivers, we can change to race alone setting.

Ok, as long as people scoot aside during quali as they also do in real life, when someone is bearing down on them like a bull. The blue flag needs to be explained.

I also suggest the use of blindspot monitor to anyone, along with the rearview mirror or quick checks of the rear view. I use the blindspot system, along with right/left/rear views.

Also this needs to be addressed immensly - DO NOT PULL BACK ONTO THE TRACK, WHEN YOU'VE GONE OFF, UNTIL YOU HAVE A CHANCE TO GET BACK ON WITHOUT ANYONE COMING. THAT IS RACING 101. DO NOT REJOIN THE TRACK WITH CARS COMING. IT SHOULD NOT NEED EXPLAINING. YOU'VE ALREADY LOST TIME BY GOING OFF - DON'T LOSE MORE BY DAMAGING YOUR CAR, ALONG WITH WHOEVER YOU'VE DOVE OUT IN FRONT OF, BECAUSE YOU REJOINED THE CIRCUIT WHEN IT WASNT CLEAR FOR YOU TO DO SO. THIS IS HOW THE ENTIRE RACING WORLD FUNCTIONS IN A COMMON SENSE ESSENCE. THE CARS COMING ARE EITHER GOING TO HIT YOU OR YOU'RE GOING TO CAUSE THEM TO GO OFF AS WELL TO AVOID YOU. A MASSIVE LOSS IN TIME UNTO THEM AT BEST. Bumping happens, but also in real life...these sorts of things result in penalties. So does impeding during quali. That results in grid penalties and drive throughs - always.

Any series I've ever participated in from GTPlanet was/is very strict on blue flagging during quali/race, impeding and contact.

Aww, Smiley. If I WRITE IN CAPITALS can I get it changed back? :mischievous:

Actually it doesn't bother me one way or the other - the reverse grid for the second race evens things up anyway.

Smiley, I might have to drop down onto the reserves for awhile - If I do I'll PM you later.
