I don't know who's wrong or who's right but all of this is pretty disrespectful to Smiley, who's put a lot of effort into running this series and from the outside it looks like he's done a great job. Out of respect this should've been moved to PM a long time ago tbh
You're right this time. 👍

Er, have I missed something? I seem to have have had a post deleted and nothing makes much sense!

So hopefully to get it back on track and just to confirm this thread is still about a DTM racing series - here's another picture from Bathurst.

Ok m8s, let's have a fun, clean race today! We've got to start over a little bit on the friendly front. I've got to step that one up myself as well. Inevitably people may be pissed for a day or two over xyz, but we've got to let things blow over quickly from here on out. No more arguing all the way (nearly) to the following race weekend lol. The series has a lot of potential to continue on to another season and we should keep riding it up.

See you guys on one of the best tracks very soon :)

Thanks for the fair treatment. Pretty unhappy right now. As I said on gt6, I have withdrawn. You can give my win from today to whoever finished second.

We didn't restart because we were 3 laps into the race by the time you came back, we restarted the qualifying because we had only did one lap, nobody set a time yet, and it was just qualifying. I don't recommend that you withdraw but I will not plead you to stay.

Smiley will be sad... :(
Idk about that, but me too. It was the first series I've been able to do well in/my actual first series because FGTA F1 started at the same time and I really like these cars.

Clearly I was going to come back. There's no reason that I wouldn't. A couple of you are psn friends with me and someone would have seen me sign off if I got totally disconnected. It is what it is I guess.

So, you're abdicating the DTM in favour of FGTA F1, right?

As i said in PSN message after the event i am really sorry mate but you reconnected 6min after the start. Third lap i think.

You are so fast that one race without points would not harm you i think. Dont see the reason to withdraw.

We already made second room due to technical problems, and restarted quali once.

Sometimes those things happens sadly.

Sorry again.
Hope to see you on track Round 5

I told you why I am quitting in the message I sent back to you on PSN smiley. It was the last straw. If you hadn't restarted quali over four min into the session for pimiki, I wouldn't care. I'm not worried about missing a race and points. I told you that it is not worth it, if things like yesterday and the other shenanigans that have gone on previously continue to be a depressing thing for me. I put too much effort into setups and trying to win for this.

No, I'm not, smart mouth. I said I'm leaving because I got disconnected on lap one and it was obvious I would come back, being that no one in the series saw me sign off psn when I got DC'd who is a PSN friend. I wouldn't be disappointed had the race been restarted, like quali of all things was restarted.

Pimiki came back four min and some odd change into quali and we restarted and it did not bother me one bit. I came back 5min and some change and I got DC'd one lap in. Not six. You would have been in the 23s, not 24s. It took a min to reconnect to PD server. Like I said, there is no reason I wouldn't come back, but whatever. It is already done with.

I didn't really expect to get a break like pimiki anyways as my opinions on some incidents weren't too popular to most in the series.

Good luck to everyone and take care.

I have been in same situation as you: When I was doing the qualify in Laguna Seca of WCR, I get disconnected... I tried several times, but always got disconnected and gave up... :(

And another situation was when it took several tries to enter in Spa Room. When I entered, nobody has waited for me and started the race! :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

@SmileyWRX I got idea for someone is disconnect.

If someone is disconnect during race within 30-21mins. They can rejoin one time. Only they on lead lap. @SmileyWRX your option do we to disconnect caution for once per drivers on lead lap within 30-21mins.

Technical problems are always the worst.
We will try to solve everything during the events.

If we restarting too much, we will never finish the races and time goes fast...

Hope that PD eliminate those small things, which are big and important to us.

The issue with that is that the drivers will have already begun to get a rhythm in and it becomes annoying to restart the race for 1 person who dc'ed, then we have to line up in race start order and it just becomes a mess.

Dc's have always been classed as mechanical brake downs as far as I was aware:indiff: Maybe if someone completes 75% distance award them half points? Take the edge of slightly.
In my series that I help run we award last place points no matter how far into the race you finished, ex: 10 people race, 1 dc's, he gets 10th place points.

The only time in which we don't award points is if you give up the race such as rage quitting.

Good news: I finally found a second part time job so I can actually buy things!
Bad news:I have to work on Saturdays now, so sadly I'm going to have to drop out of the series. Sorry guys, but life has to come first.
