I can do the line fine, I'm entering the first turn at 89MPH but initiating at 118MPH. :dopey:

Just 3 hours left...
Get ready!!

I can't wait! I just something doesn't go wrong like me not being able to connect or something like that. Been practising like hell and now I can squeeze in a 195 km/h entry as well as consistently pulling off successful reverse entries. Also been practising tandem too 👍 .

Guys you'll have to give me an hour. Gotta cover up a big gash in my leg and disinfect it then eat something.

I can't connect when everybody comes... just as usual from my 🤬 ISP  .

I was going to at least "try" too do this, but I can't. So I just wanted to say good luck to all in this weekends event. 👍

Who you with?

TalkTalk. LOL

Disappointed with my results today. 0 points. How did it happen :( ?! Probably should think twice before joining a comp like this.

When I was with TalkTalk they were disgraceful, but when they managed to by-pass a pipeline restricted by BT, the speeds were good and ping times were relatively low, but the line attenuation and noise margin was so big it was hard to game online without lagging.

A few things that sorted the connection was setting up a static IP address for the PS3 and then DMZ the PS3 so that it isn't being blocked by firewall or router services. That should help.

Any other problems PM mate. 👍

Thanks for the advice but now I need advice on how I can stop being nervous and messing up when I'm being judged. I always get it right in practice :indiff: . I guess reverse entries from 190 km/h just isn't my thing.

Sorry to hear you can't make it, see you next round you :sly: bastard :D

Haha.. I was practicing with B and Lerky and all of a sudden my neck just started killing me. I tried to get it to stop but it won't, I'm just relaxing watching Nascar qualifying.

You just gotta forget that you're being judged, just think of it as any other practice run man.

Everybody gets nervous, tell yourself to relax and don't worry about what could go wrong, just go with the flow. I was shaking on my first comp, but I learnt to realise it's just for fun and there's nothing to worry about ;)

👍

Honestly MSTR, I was nervous on the first two rounds as well since I haven't done much competition battles or qualifying. But my car was also to blame as well, since it had a ton of understeer which I soon rectified.

The way I overcame my nervousness was just telling myself to concentrate and shouting LET'S DO THIS!!! XD I also drink water to keep my head straight and also did a few things like a couple runs before qualifying to get my pumped up.

From there is was just sheer luck and concentration. Just remembering where I was to initiate and how long to hold the e-brake for, and then it all naturally came to me after that.

Thanks for the words of encouragement guys. I feel a lot better :) 👍 . Plus I still have 4 rounds left to redeem myself :D .

EDIT: Thanks to BkS's help, my new connection is mint! Type 1 connection.

I thought you could only get NAT Type 1 from plugging your PS3 directly into your modem via CAT5?

No... I set up a PPPoE IP Address and adjusted my routers settings and I managed to squeeze out NAT Type 1 from it... :)👍. My new connection is BEAST :sly: . I can connect to almost anybody. Shouldn't have problems connecting when round 4 comes.

Qualifying is over. 22 participants is a decent number. Points will be updated tomorrow as I am just too tired to do it now

Whoa whoa whoa. What about the American qualifier. I thought it isn't for another 15 mins

If means so far. Driftz is over the American room. His new profile is kyoki-driftz (something like that).
