Hi, do we need to sign up this @Pigems?? I may be able to make the first race occasionally if I'm still awake 👍.
I hope I manage to get in in time. I spent 5 hours on a livery last week that never got seen. I finished the livery, looked at the thread. Saw "
Tonight’s race lobby is now open for practice, action starts in 45 min.". That had been posted 30 minutes ago. With 15 mins to go the lobby was already full, and stayed full every time I checked
.
Or should we start doing it as a sign up over the week leading up to Friday?
That might give an indication of numbers and whether there needs to be a second lobby for that day.
You could just wait until 5 minutes til to open it. People can practice on their own, if they want to.Just send me a friend request on PSN to TPC_Pigems, that’s it. Then you can come on out to race whenever you can/want to.
Damn, maybe I should start closing and then reopening the lobby at 5 minutes too, then everyone gets a fair shot at getting in?

To go along with that, I didn't even attempt a qualifying lap for Race A and C. May just do a practice lobby for a selection of 5 Nations Races and 5 Manufacturer's Races. We'll maybe need to look at possibilities of a second lobby with all the lockdown stuff going on. Many more people seem available to race now. I know with my work I can't do it often but can attempt to host a second if needed as I know I won't be able to be in super early to practice.
Of course every time I say that something 🤬 up and I can't get there. Will try and fix that today.

Go for it. People are there from all regions. Just send @Pigems a friend request and try to joinIs it practical to join the lobby if I'm from the EMEA region? Like would I be lagging in the race?
The race C races were the highlight from my standpoint. Both provided close, clean racing but the second in particular, @Invisigoth calmly stuck to his racing line and for at least four laps the four / five cars behind kept swapping places trying to find a safe passing spot![]()

Watch the replay, it'll do wonders for your confidence. It looked like your were calmly sticking to your lineThat wasn't me calmly sticking to my racing line. Ooooooh no. That was me holding the wheel in a death grip, my eyes bulging outta my helmet, filling my Nomex undies with sweat and "other things", praying to the racing gods that the tortured screams coming from the tyres wasn't an indication that I was about to be splashed to the four winds on the next corner!!!!![]()
