GT by citroen road car invitation

I imagine the science behind the invitation system goes something like this. If you want to collect every car in the game, you need to play the game a lot. You need to earn enough credits to afford cars you have to buy (as opposed to those that you can win). To get every car in the used car...

I made that post right before doing the jimmy cup and to my surprise the 4* ticket stuff from that cup gave me.

This morning was a 4 star DW ticket which netted me a sweet 30K reward! Saves me from running Sardegna 0.05 times.

The Sardegna is my most-used unit of measurement in GT7. 1,000,000 credits = 1.35 Sardegnas. I've got about 500 to go lol...

Landed two LaFerrari and an Aston One-77 yesterday through a mix of the tickets earned yesterday and one hold over ticket I was saving from before the update that went from the Bugatti GR1 to the LaFerrari
 
DW 4* -> Huayra engine (worth 775k), great... now I have 4 of them on the shelves, among my 25+ collection of useless engines.
 
The winning spot is not the usual upper left corner, it had become more random.
I had a stack of 10 bars in the usual corner and was happy I was going to win that million, but NOOOO, it stops dead center front with an invite for a Pagani....

Why is it that when it comes to the roulette tickets, they give the lowest amount or parts you can't use or sell? As far as cars, I have yet to win a car, much less a decent one. I have had GT7 since day one.

I just need the Ferrari one to complete the Pokédex (well, and wait for the Bvlgari...). But I haven't seen one for a year, doing the daily workout almost every single day.

Just like they updated the engine swap system, they need to change the invitation system for it not to be fully dependent on rng.

It could be a reward for buying every other car from the same brand on brand central (which is actually somehow realistic lol), or something like that, actually rewarding playing the game.

Anyways, I'm keeping the Aston Martin ticket unopened, waiting for a February update. This trick seems that doesn't work anymore, does it?

It didn't for me this week...I had 4 tickets with invitations that I saved for the January update and they all remained the same. :irked:

16 tickets which the 9 of them was known the outcome since i open them and save them before update.
What was worthy was a 100k from 3*!!
A million from 6* , a formula car from 6* and an Aston invitation that i already knew and doesn't change.
The 4* tickets was mostly 10k and 30k and crappy parts like bore up ,shaft etc.
5* was a 100k and an engine worth 135k .

Could be worst ?
Perhaps but not by much.

Has anyone else been getting miles better prizes since the update? I’ve had a Citroen invitation, 1m credits, and Silvia Spec-R touring car since Friday.

Three very decent prizes in a row. Previously unheard of!

That’s a shame, must just be an anomalous run of good luck then. I thought for a moment PD had finally worked out that they might be better off not pissing off the userbase of their one and only product on a daily basis.

I wish they realise that one day, ending my short sessions with a slap in the face 99% of the time is not something I enjoy.

I see that too now, that's a small step forward. Now when we see the ****** prize we will most probably get, it is not always in the upper left...

I'd wish that collector level would have continued increasing past 50 (which corresponds ~10% of car collection value) AND that the ticket stats linked to collector level would have evolved continuously too (now they get a bit better until collector level 20... it's a joke ?)

At collector level 500 we should not even get 4* anymore. And remove from roulette the parts and engine we can now buy when we want. Or at least allow to sell them.
 
lol, today it's my turn. There's no more succinct "GT7 moment" than the jolt of excitement that comes with seeing a 6 star roulette ticket pop up as your DW reward followed immediately by the jolt of dissappointment at noting the "(engine)" tacked onto the description.

Honestly, ALL prizes in the game should be in the form of credits. THen there should be a parts/tuning shop for anyone who wishes to engage in that way. The whole engine and tuning aspect of the game is completely un-interesting to me. I just want to collect all the cars. 500 cars is all the variety I need. I don't even change the tires unless there's some specific requirement to do so. Probably half of the daily workout rewards are useless for a segment of the players trying to enjoy the game. Being able to at least sell the parts for credits would help, but really there's no reason to even make that extra couple steps necessary. Just give me the credits and let me go shopping for whatever I want. That's FUN - which is what this is supposed to be about.

I noticed that the Porsche SPyder is available in the Legends dealership last night and I have it flagged as a needed car to complete a car menu so I got set to start grinding for it. Then I popped into the cafe and saw that the reward for completing the menu is a ****ing engine ticket. lol...I mean I'm still going to get the car but I might not even bother claiming the ticket.
