The damage looks great so far I wonder what the colision would look like it seems like PD really out did themselves this time around .I almost gave up all hope that we would never see damage in a GT game hats of to KY and his team and this is a day for all GT fans to remember E3 2009.

I didn't even notice this til just now....but anyone notice the dirt itself on the side of the door along with the damage?? STUNNING!!

Simply amazing news I knew from the start GT5 would be shown. :P

I know I am going to sound like a d*** for saying this but this trailer was a real kick in the teeth for that guy from Turn 10 who used the words "definitive" more times in 10 minutes than me in my entire life. It's like he was just asking for it yesterday. :/

I wonder if more details about this game will come as a steady stream or at TGS maybe even Leipzig. The latter sounds the best bet with the GT franchise now being most popular in EU.

I hate Nascar however how big is it in NA? It could maybe push a few more people into getting this game.

Hey guys, first time poster (I think), anyways.. I've been following the GT-Series since GT3 and have been a regular visitor of this site.

I hate to spoil everyones' mood, but this does really look like pre-rendered footage.. Although I hope it's in-game, and even if it's pre-rendered it doesn't mean that the final game won't look graphically close to what we saw today. =)

Also, what do you guys think about damage on other cars then rally cars? In the trailer you can see some cars spin out, which suggests that they're on their way towards a huge crash, could this be a sign of damage on all cars?

Forget about that, KY said like always that's not gonna happen because too many manufacturers are against it. But the race cars will have it.

I don't ever remember PD using CG to show GT

No he didn't. There has been no other news on GT5 EXCEPT for the trailer, I have no idea where some of you people come up with some of the stufff you are talking about. GT has NEVER show ANYTHING not in game... Even their opening videos were created using the games graphics ENGINE, not CG, so for all of you Xbox fanboys trying to crush the AWESOMENESS of GT5 that was just shown here today, get lost...

I can assure you I'm no Xbot. I'm just trying to get a grip on the trailer. IF this in fact is in-game footage (which I hope it is, but don't dare to believe)... then GT5 will be leaps and bounds ahead of ANY other game I've seen, in the graphics department that is. =)

Well, fingers crossed that it's in-game and that we'll found out more during the show. Although more info on GT5 seems unlikely =(

He often said damage on all cars is a difficult thing because too many facturers are against it! Please correct me somebody if I am wrong. And I'm not a xbox fan or sth. How old are you btw.? Keep it serious please...

And Power Point will no longer be in GT sorry for the PP tuners.

Damage to the side of the Nascar and the damage was seen when the STi landed = CONFIRMED! :sly:

More than that, the whole line under the window is shaped like a wave. Looks like a confirmation to me, considering I thought it was only on the Subaru.
Edit: Actually, upon inspection of another photo of the same car, that curve is probably just the shape of the flame decal.
