Theres no way I'm going to transfer data from previous games.
IMO the whole idea of lisences is to become acustomed to the new physics engine.

I have a GT3 save ,but I don't want to use it to get more money,I will start from 0% from scratch ,because we won't see GT5 for a couple of years ,so I would like this game to last more to play .

* To save placing a new, probably unworthy, thread in the GT4 sub-forum I will just ask my question here since the title would most likely be similar.

My question is: Is there any way to transfer records (I specifically mean race/license times) from a previous GT4 save to a new GT4 save?
The reason I ask is because after completing the game 100% about 2 years ago I've developed an urge to replay the game, but this time establishing a perfect clean-cut winning ratio, a better username and a 100,000 A-spec point record. I also spent hours upon hours polishing off license times for GTPlayground.net and I doubt I will find it easy, as well as finding the time, to manage those near-perfect times again.

I do wish this is possible, and I swear I've heard mentioned once or twice before, but I'm not quite sure it is.

Is it possible to buy for example a Toyota 7 race Car in GT4 like you can do that in GT2 with rare cars (e.g. the Cerbera LM) ? That'd be fine

It is possible, in a way.
And that way means you need to do it via hacking the save with computer and emulator.

Just recently I've learned how to modify the diary to get any kind of event on any day, as well as modifying the record time on a given license/event race.
Trophies aren't problem neither but I don't know yet how to change the total mileage, if that's needed at all..
