be lenient, and dont let personal spats get in the way.

edit: Also...... the Toyota GT One is not a GT car W1nner. I mean, in no way shape or form. Lol.

In real life, the Toyota TS020, also called the Toyota GT-ONE, actually WAS a GT1 car in 1998, and an LMGTP (1999's version of GT1) in 1999. The TS020 was never in LMP1, and there is a road car version of it.

Well in any terms of performance its an LMP.

Well, if that's the case...
Why isn't the Mercedes CLK-LM faster than the TS020 just like it was in real life? This is what I don't understand.

Because PD got the cars specs wrong. The CLK-LM in 98 was ~900kg, not 1000kg. Then in 99 it was replaced by the CLR. They were not faster than the TS020. That held the lap record for a few years. Even the Panoz GTR-1 was 900kg. The 911 GT1 wasn't quite as fast but ran a clean race and won LeMans in 98, BMW won in 99 with the V12 LMR. If GT6 has the correct weights and more of these cars I will setup a series with the 1999 cars. CLR TS020 V12 LMR 911 GT1 R390 Panoz would be great to race.

Drop my time down to 1:33.0 but thats my best after 3 hours of tunning

33 flat isn't bad, I ran maybe 10 laps to get a feel and that was my best as well. Gonna be tough to beat the other LMPs at Monza, esp the GT Ones

Alright, I think I've finally sorted out this mess, and I'm ready to announce the finishing order!

Havent tested at Monza yet. I've run a 7:30.063-ish around the Nürb. I'll run around Monza tonight and update you on proper laptimes

I haven't hit Nurb yet except for LMP, which I've run under 6'00 with all LMP except C60 Hybrid at these regs. That C60 Hybrid after it's suspension update is... weird.

I was running the IS350 as hard as I could and got 1'49.6, which seems slow to me since GT1 runs 1'44.8... or lower (only ran Nissan & Corvette). I would think GT2 would run about 1'47-1'48, I could be wrong since Monza is a top speed track, which would mean a larger difference between the three classes.

UPDATE LMP: 1'31s are definitely going to be the milemarker here at Monza, 1'30s appears to be the god mark. Anyone that runs these lap times should get a big pat on the back. So far I've only achieved 1'32.2 in Bentley, 1'32.3 in R10, R8 '05, R8 '01, C60 Hybrid, BMW V12, and 1'32.4 in Toyota (I hate that car)

Just like 1'59s at Spa, the first one to 1'31s here in Italy definitely deserves a free biscuit.

I know this may comes as a shock to you guys, but I actually took the time to tune these cars to run these lap times, I can only get high 1'32s with certain cars (cough, cough, R10) with a stock suspension/LSD/tranny

I'm getting ready to run a few laps now, so i should be able to update you on that in about 15 minutes

Update: So far my fastest lap time has been around a 1:52.399. I'm still at it now to try and reach 1:49-ish

I've also just finished testing two other gt2s that i have (the garaiya and the amuse s2k) and both dont stray more than a second from that time weirdly

maybe the game is just vastly different ds3 to wheel.... but how on earth would you be faster in the BMW V12 or the R10 than the GT One? The Toyota should be the fastest LMP at Monza.... and the R10 should be the slowest, as it is at every single track lol.

I swear I must have a completely different version of GT5 compared to everyone else in the world.
I have to put by suspension on steroids turn get a car to turn....
The Audi R10 is actually fast (once put to a high enough HP)
LMPs have no wheelspin.
LMGT1s have tons of wheelspin.
LMGT1s require no downforce in the rear end to run fast.
LMGT2s are just... weird.
Pescarolo C60s are all screwed up from when I remember them.
I just suck at driving the GT-ONE... I actually could only make sufficient lap times with 620-625hp with the car, and I put it at 615 and it runs fine.
I hate Toyota in general... expect for the Castrol Supra... I kinda have to endorse my father's workplace :/
Some cars actually run SLOWER with a turbo (Audi R8 '01 is an EXCELLENT example for me)
Panoz Esperante is godly.
Merc can out run Toyota at same downforce/weight.
Nissan R390 handles like a 4WD.
BMW doesn't turn compared to other LMP.
Toyota GT-ONE turns like a Veyron with 900kg
Merc CLK handles like Merc CLR.
JGTC NSXRs seem underpowered, but they aren't for me.
I always run 4WDs 3 seconds faster than everyone else (which explains why I'm so damn good in that R33 TC fresh)
I've beaten many Veyrons with a CIEN at SSR7 in earlier updates of the game.
I have to put my toe at 0.50/-0.50 to force any type of steering response out of an FR.
I get good tyre wear with a controller.
My controller is actually faster than my wheel.
I use X and Square.
And finally, if these anomalies aren't enough, the online physics change for me everytime I enter circuit, so sometimes I'll run a 1'32.2, next I can only run a 1'33 and not change a single thing with my tune (fell victim to this on Saturday, combined with a bad tune adjustment).
Also, practice physics are different than race physics, and race physics=offline physics.
Yet... with all of this against me, along with my astounding reputation, I'm still running this series.
Therefore I conclude, yes, I am crazy.

I can put power down without much trouble in the GT cars. The lmps are different. Theyre tricky so i coast through the slow turns like the chicanes at Monza.
