As I'll have to work the latest shift again tomorrow (can't say no when not on a permanent contract... Plus, the money's handy), I'm going to miss out again. That means there's one more slot up for grabs.

The mondaynight events are filling up nicely now adays. Maybe we should think about running dual events at the same time.
This could also help if people were experiencing connection-issues, they could try and join the other room.

Not a bad idea, but think would be abit difficult to set up as FR are needed to join lounge.
Maybe a public lobby maybe better and post the number here?
See how many turn up too plus if we get any issues.

Need 2 ppl with high bandwidth to host public room and lock it to them.

Downside- as a public room you will get allsorts jumping in and out all over the place. As can be searchable and viewable to all, not just those with lobby number.

Well as is, the one race is sufficient.
However, I don't think the FR is a problem. Anyone who wants to race has to add the host to race, adding a second host is hardly a problem.
We keep the same format and OPs as we use now, we just add another host (a backup host if you will) who sets up an identical room. However it will only be set up if the first room fills up. That's how I pictured it anyway, thoughts?

Anyway the 15 lap race at the end for me was spot on, front right busted for 11ish laps I think, then me gearbox went on the last but one lap if thats not fun I don't know what is

Hi Guys.....glad to see new faces in the fun racers all the time.....doesn't matter how good you are...the battles for last are as fun as the battles for first imo....we are looking for race hosts over the next coming weeks...no hosts no fun racers...all you need is normal or high bandwidth and nat type 1 or 2 connection.

We usually host 2 weeks in a row...host chooses track etc...Sign up at the fun racers discussion boards in the race hosts thread....cheers DJ 👍

I'm ready for ya! I've been practicing extra special for avoiding contact, especially crashes!

(That said, I have no clue what car is planned... For all I know it could be the Alpine on comfort medium, on Deep Forest... and then I'm just doomed.)

Is there a list somewhere of the cars you can choose from?
I know there's only about 50 that are in the "recommended" & that are possibilities in shuffle races.
But I guess the only way to see that list is to go online & look?

I'm pretty good with the Daihatsus actually.
Love the Copen and the Cuore. The Move is okay. The OFC-1 Concept has some pretty wicked understeer though - that I can't imagine driving it in stock condition on comfort tires. haha.

I think it's just 1-1/2 hours before race time. I should boot Miata_1 off the PS3 & start scoping out Deep Forest in something.
(Though who am I kidding... I'm rarely very well-prepared even for races where I know what car I'll be in!!!)

We only use the cars from the recommended list, but I don't think you need to go online to see them, if I'm not mistaking it's the same cars you can chose from in offline arcade mode...

Don't worry, the tyres will be restricted to Sports Softs or Harder & what Chris said any car that's in Arcade mode (except from your favourites list) are in the Recommended List
