Thanks for the setups! Amazing job!
Can I suggest to get a tune for audi quattro for fishermans? I think this car is completely op in rally stages and with a good setup can be a blast!
Thanks in advance.

Thank you man for that quattro, i bet is a beast!
It's a lot harder to handle then the GT6 version of it. But it's always been a beast.
If you respect it, and drive respecting it, it will perform well. If you temp it to overpower too much it will bury you, lol.
Many improvements can (and will) be made on it. And as always I welcome advice and help from any other's who are also tweeking this car. We are all still learning the fine details and inner workings of this system, there's a lot we can learn from each other if we work together.
Happy driving 🚗 😄

Alpine A110 '17
600pp (598.31pp)
Tuned for the;
World Touring Car series of 600pp races.

The only non Vision Alpine, and it had an MR drivetrain. Had to play with it a bit, lol. Slick car, very fun for the under 600 range.
Tuned to 422 hp, it has "just" the right edge it needs to compete against the Vipers and others in the race.
I've ran the race a few times with it now, usually take 1st place at the end of lap 3 or beginning of 4, then it's all cake.

This thing is drivable without TCS?

If you find better lap times putting control on a car then by all means do it, lol. Most cars get much faster lap times without it though.

I feel TCS is personal. Some use it, some don't, but ultimately it's just a tool. And like any other tool I feel it should be used only when it's needed.

Think of it like this;
If 90% of cars you drive you find with no traction control you can add 5 to 10 seconds on a lap time, then you are like most of us.

BUT, in those 10% of cars for some reason (game devs), having tcs=1 actually gives you the fastest lap time compared to no tcs. It's not you "hurting" your car, in this case it's you fixing what shouldn't be broken in the first place. And enjoying a vehicle you wouldn't otherwise be able to.

Hi! thanks for all this tunning! Would be great to have some sort of index, it would be much easier to find which tunes you did for everyone :D
I need to find the time to do that.
I need to copy the first post and use that, it just gives me a headache thinking about it, lol.
But I will, ty.

Oh yeah sure, I know its always faster in theory. I was just wondering, because I had made a tune for this car(PP550) with only 266 hp and, although I prefer it with no TC, it can already sometime go into a controllable oversteer(with sports soft). So I would imagine with sports hard on it and 150 hp extra, it might become a bit nasty.

De Tomaso
Mangusta '69
600pp (599.36 pp)

Tuned for WTC-600 3 race series.

I'm going to say this off the bat, MOST people are going to hate this. There is a slight drift that is there ON PURPOSE, to be utilized as a tool. This is not a popular style among most people.
For those that do like doing out of the box things and experiencing the most out of games, you will love this.
Yes, I made a second spreadsheet with all of the weirdness tuned out. And yes, you can turn this into just another boring ass car if you want to. If your looking for a domination car for 600pp just load up the F430 '06 or something. (The F430 '06 is a god mode car at 600pp)
Anyway, hope I find the 1 in 10 who love this, lol.

Ill give this one a shot some time. I like a bit of oversteer on my cars, as long as there isnt a high risk on the car snapping back on me when correcting the slide.

Thanks for the tune. I'll try it tomorrow.
I tried my own on sport hard tires, no engine parts tuned. Didn't get it controllable through the last corner of Deep Forest.

I didn't have a problem with it like this through hairpins, although I can name about 40 cars that handle them "better" if you will.

It's like I mentioned earlier, it's ability to utilize it's torque getting to higher speeds almost twice as fast as the other cars is it's golden ticket. It may lose 1/3 or a 1/2 second here and there on it's quirks, but when it's gaining 2 to 3 full seconds on the exit straight line it makes up for it.
I know a lot of skilled drivers who won't like this, lol. Many people think they have to make every car as close to their perfect ideal in their heads, and thats correct if all your doing is racing for 1st place in online lobbys. But if your trying to enjoy the game, experience all the cars and actually have fun with them the way they were designed... goods and bads, I love this car.
I made a tune originally for it that was different. Was a lot more stable and handled more evenly throughout. And in doing so also lost most of its overpower that the car was designed with. Perfect for if your taking the kids to soccer practice, lol. And that isn't what I was looking for so I went a different direction.

But before you experiment and all, might want to just try putting intermediates on. The intermediates being much wider really compliments the cars weight shifts, and RI tires have the same PP score as sports soft anyway.

Nissan GT-R Gr.B Rally Car
(TARMAC tune)
Tuned for WTC 700 set of 3 races

I set the top speed to 310 and left it. Did not alter the internal gearing, as it was already pretty spot on.
This is a powerhouse at 734hp, a tiny bit oversteery but once your aware of it its no big deal. And it helps a LOT on the turn ability while off throttle to be set like it is, and seeing as the 3rd race is the full Nords I like it better this way. A lot of off throttle cornering.

HELLO I CANNOT FIND YOUR AUDI S1 SETUP ANY MORE. CAN YOU HELP ME
The peaks Audi I wasn't comfortable with. I was still working on it here and there, and was going to repost it once I worked that feeling out.
That hasn't happened yet, lol.
I've been spending a lot of time on other cars and haven't gone back to this one in a couple weeks.
I just can't get the stability from this that I can get with the other rally cars. Something is off about it.

You should make a non-rally car (I.e Subaru Impreza coupe WRX '99) into an absolute menace on just about either track, tarmac or not

Some of the most unlikely cars (4wd of course) have made excellent dirt racers in the last few GT games.
I haven't gotten that far yet, lol. But trust me I plan on it.

awesome.

(Replying to demonchilde btw)
Can't wait to see what a master such as yourself will accomplish. As for me, I've managed to make a pretty damn fast rally car... which feels like a boat. No matter what i do or how much downforce i take or add, it just does not want to stay straight. upside though, it starts to feel like a mario kart drift allowing me to adjust how much i turn in a direction. kind of a drift car on steroids? I'll show some photos of my current setup. THis is for the Subaru Impreza Coupe WRX type R STi '99

Please do not ever refer to me as any kind of master of anything, lol.
I've been dabbling in tuning since gt5, and learning as I go. I've picked up a lot of really good tuning habits mostly by watching what the REAL masters do in certain situations.

What I find, is that there are many different styles of driving. People who naturally drive the way I do will benefit from settings I do. People that drive similar to other people will probably be following their garage instead. Thats what I've seen in gt5, gt6, and gt7.
I learned from everyone in these forums, but mostly by watching Praiano and MoterCityHami. Those are the real "masters" to me anyway.

But anyway, lol. I will take a look when I'm on later at that car and setup. I will let you know any ideas I come up with for it. Peace man.
