DFP brake pedal problems

I have a DFP, almost 2 years old. Everything works great except the brake pedal. I don't know ifs its wiring or not, but the problems are 1) If I put on the brake all the way down, sometimes GT4 thinks I'm only braking half way. 2) If I let go of the throttle the game registers that it is braking a little.

Please don't tell me to go buy a G25, because I'm not.

The potentiometers are dying. Have a search around, it's a well documented problem/

I had the same issue with my pedals. I applied the fix described here and have been running trouble free ever since.

The problem is that the potentiometers shift in their housing. The fix is to secure them with tape. The DFGT pedals have an additional bracket to secure them so they don't suffer from this problem.
