Dick Clark Dead at 82

Well, the world lost a pretty awesome personality earlier today. Dick Clark died of a massive heart attack earlier today. I'm sure he'll be missed.

I used to always look forward to watching him host his annual New Year's Eve celebrations - I'm not sure they'll be able to fully replace him.

With all due respect to Mr. Clark, rest in peace, I get tired of how whenever a news anchor dies we are bombarded with special reports and tributes, but when an important and revolutionary engineer or scientist dies they rarely get even a mention.

Am I the only one who is secretly happy that I'll never have to see him again on new years (until someone creates a post-stroke hologram of him)? Not that I watched his new years thing on purpose, but for whatever reason I'd end up seeing it against my will and it was always a horrifying depressing way to ring in the new year.

Congratulations Danoff, you're 1 year closer to having a stroke.

Honestly? No. That was the one my parents always watched, and it always made me really uncomfortable watching it after his stroke.
