Let's expand that 2nd pic a bit.

It looks like either @Doog's second picture, or your first. It was dark and hard to tell. Yours looks a little big, but his looks a little small. Angles are everything though. It was right next to me, so it's going to look big.

What car were you in?

Just saw one of these yesterday

I thought my car was loud, this thing was shaking my seat just idling from across the intersection

Okay, so I found two different cars that look close, but the Aston isn't it, just looks similar.

I work right around the corner from a vehicle restoration garage. All day long there are nice cars from brand new specimens to vintage collectibles. I see alot of rich people goin in and out all day. I try to snap pictures when I can, but it gets embarrassing as every single person stares at you as you walk by haha. Recently they started closing the gates, I wonder if thats my fault haha.

I know its hard to see, but that Trans-Am was in mint condition. I didnt notice it until it was to late, as the truck was zooming by me :(

👍 Theres something new everyday, they had a 300SL Gullwing the other day. Always run into a Porsche, a Jag(usually an E-type, they get alot of those too), and Pantera's. I'll see what I can find today on my way home.

The Alfa, I'm not sure what it is, but it was nice.

EDIT: I think I got my threads mixed up haha

You should definitely go in sometime and talk to them 👍
The actual garage part of the facility looks fantastic.. Rows and rows of restored cars. I always wanted to go in there, but its on my way to the bus, after work. My time window isnt to big either :(. Also, I'm all dirty from work because I work in a warehouse that Manufactures aftermarket cooling parts for automobiles, couple that with the fact that i'm a man that does not shave his facial area.. They'll probably think I'm a beggar.

Not so much dirty from whats going on, mostly dirty from dust and random stuff haha.

Saab 9000 CS. Is it any good? (dem headlight wipers tho)

Saab's to me always felt like a poor mans car. Take that how you will.

Considering that it's a grey import...

Come on, this thread is supposed to be a debate on what constitutes good or interesting not posting a snap and asking for an ego stroke. Any car which is ubiquitously rare is worthy of the DYSAGT thread. Are you seriously questioning whether a Rolls-Royce or Ferrari 365 or Jaguar E-Type is DYSAGT worthy?

The real issue of this thread, or so I thought it might be, is whether something mundane but didn't sell well or whether something formerly common but increasingly rare is worthy; cars which aren't high performance and have no real distinction other than that you don't see them very often hence original discussion on models such as SAAB 9-5, Triumph Acclaim, Volkswagen Corrado or Alfa 156 estate.

A debate on interestingness is not reason for posting things and asking for a rating, I don't think. It's more of a question on what makes a car noteworthy or interesting.

Ego Stroke?

  • Is this a good spot?
  • What kind of car is this?
  • Should I be looking out for these?

So I broke the rules, by going by the rules? Maybe that 2nd bullet should be taken out then.

Yes, it should. A different thread almost certainly already exists for "What car is this?"
