No, thanks
I would like to know from GT5 players (collectors or not) , which of their cars worth more the money spent and which didn't? why ?

I will start (as example)

Which car worth more the money spent ? Subaru WRC 2008

Why ? Because I won every Rally Gran Turismo special event with this car by simply changing tires . Made lots of money and spent on it small quantie (tires)

Which car didn't worth the money spent ? Lamborghini
Miura P400 Bertone Prototype CN.0706 '67

Why ? Because , it's beautifull for taking pics but useless for racing , there are cheaper cars that can do more .

I would like to hear from you all aswell :)

NOTE - Always respect A.U.P. .👍

Which car worth more the money spent ? The 787B and SLS AMG Stealth models.

Why ? Love them both based on sound, looks and performance.

Which car didn't worth the money spent ? Would like to say the X2010, but I never wasted 20 mill on one. Must say the Ferrari F1 cars.

Why ? Im not interested in F1 racing.

I'd definitely agree on the Ferrari F1 cars, but for reasons that I can't use them in any offline races and the fact that PD doesn't have an event for it other than the old Ferrari F1 seasonal.

One of my greatest worth of money spent was on my BMW M3 CSL. Expensive but overall excellent car, and the fact that I can use it in a lot of races, which is the biggest deal in a car's worth.

Which car worth more the money spent ? Tommy Kiara ZZ II

Why ?
Why?!? Have you driven this thing it an absolute animal

Which car didn't worth the money spent ?
Tricky one. But the Audi R 10 TDI it has to be.

Why ?
Too slow for its class and I expected the fuel to last much much longer than it did

I actually have driven the ZZII and It's like the 430 scuderia except the noise and it's 4wd

The Audi , I only have his 5 gear box (Fortunally I own the R10 Stealth and still saved a replay where he had 6 gears )

Which car that you own has the most value for money?
HKS CT230R.

Why?
Absolute power corrupting absolutely for just 250k.

Which car that you own has the least value for money?
Renault 5 Maxi Turbo Rally Car '85.

Why?
There is simply no point buying a car that simply does not handle. Simples. ;)

I seriously have to try that CT230R trought your review C-Zeta he seems pretty good .

As for the Maxi , I have the same opinion to Miura :)

Miura P400 Bertone Prototype CN.0706 '67

Useless for racing? I often take one of my (fully tuned that is) Miuras to one of the 550PP/Sports Soft rooms where it is very competitive and more importantly enormous fun.
Ofcourse a lot of much cheaper cars can do more (I assume you mean being faster and more easy to control) but since when is that a criteria for money well spend in a videogame?
What are your criteria anyway? Performance versus price would obviously mean the Miura (or any of the classic 20 million Le Mans racers and the Alfa TZ2) are poor value.

But even if we could agree it's overpriced, I don't regret buying it twice (got 4 in total, traded for 2 more when that was still possible) as there's nothing else like it in GT5.
It's one thing if you can't appreciate it for what it is and don't enjoy it (which is fair enough) but attaching a value to it only based on competitive performance or usablitity for game progress suggests to me that cars for you are nothing more than racing material and judged by cold efficiency.
Again nothing wrong with that, but I tend to appreciate cars for other things than purely performance, how they deliver that performance for example.
In short, the goal is the journey, not the other way around.

Same here, which is why I despise the Amuse S2k Turbo. Another very good value car by the way, and even if you do take it over the CT230R I'm not gonna blame you...

With cheaper cars I don't mean for example a Toyota 7 Race Car with RS tires , I mean , I couldn't win the Supercar Nostalgia Cup with it , it slided everywhere, incontrolable (SH tires), and when I tried the 1200'66 , easy win (same tires) , Miura can't handle , just accelarates like veyron , but has a bit better handling.

I compared his value because 15 million I could buy better cars that would be usefull (more fun , not spend money on tunes that wouldn't be usefull, racing stock or tuned). I even used the power limiter on 50% and max ballast on front to slow it down , still lost , I admit that I'm a very agressive driver but still it was unusefull.

If you like Miura I hope I'm not offending you , I just have a different perspective of it.
I think I can have a different opinion of things.

I'm not offended by you having a different opinion or liking different things and/or for different reasons, just thought it a bit odd to only take into consideration the performance aspects which obviously would mean a car like the Miura is poor value.
Thing is, these older cars cannot only be expected to perform equally, they also need you to adapt your driving style to them.
That goes for a lot of cars (not just the older ones), if you drive each car with the same basic driving style or attitude and try to make that car behave more to suit that style (by changing the weight balance) you simply miss out on the variety on offer and can never appreciate the true character of an individual car.

Basiacly , I don't think Miura is horrible , just doesn't worth 15 mill for what he offers . It's true that I didn't spent too much time (One or 2 races) too "know" him, but for what I expected it's ... :indiff:

Which car has the best value for the money?
My tuned Subaru Legacy Wagon 06.

Why?
550 hp in a stock looking station wagon. Those players in the Ferraris and Lamborghinis don't know what hit them.

What car has the worst value for money?
Nissan GT-R R35 Black Edition(DLC).

Why?
I thought that these cars were supposed to be beasts. My station wagon can own it, as can a mildly tuned Volvo C-30 R-Design set to the TOCA Season 3 regulations.

but for what I expected it's ... :indiff:

Maybe that's the main issue, you perhaps expected something it isn't.
The fact the price is so extremely high boils down to PD's decision to include a one-off prototype and not the production version.
So the value attached is loosely based on the real life value of that particular car I guess, whilst the performance is probably very much like a far cheaper production car.
I'd rather they did include a production version if only for the fact it would be cheaper ingame and they could've added other versions like the SV perhaps.

To be clear, I don't expect anyone to like a car as much as I like it, and given the enormous price tag it's easy for some to assume it'll therefor drive 150 times better than for example a Ferrari 512BB which obviously it doesn't.

Ok , soo that's why the 15 mill , "Prototype" :dunce:

Thanks and yeah , he doesn't handle as much as a 512bb :P

Which car worth more the money spent ? second hand Formula GT

Why ? Let me race in the FGT race event. It was hard work finding it in the used lot and having the cash (Back in version 0.97 era) But it opened up a long series of medium length races (Which I prefer) And let my BSpec drivettes run amock in many races to open up the free cars and suchlike without me having to nurse maid them.

Which car didn't worth the money spent ? McLaren Emmpeefourdashtwelvecee

Why ? Painful to drive. I was expecting better in every way than the Fezza 458 - but bone stock the car felt terrible to drive. And I think it even diddled me out of the Orange Paint chip too.

Worth it? GT-R Black Edition.

Why? 1000km the first couple of days, won me millions, sounds awesome, is fast, and sexy.

Money is not really an issue in this game is it? We can aqquire several millions within minutes, then I don't really care if I have to spend 10.000.000 Cr. on a vintage Alfa Romeo which I really can't use for anything.

Which car worth more the money spent ? BMW 135i

Why ? because with little upgrades it can beat the hell out of its M brothers.

Which car didn't worth the money spent ? Most 550pp + cars.

Why ? Nowhere to race them properly and enjoy them.

Best money spent? Honda Civic Type-
R '98 (NCD)

Why? It's where I started out and made it up to lvl 40 & 20m Credits :).

Worst spent? Silverado SST Concept

Why? I don't like the look or sound of it, but am forced to use it for the Pickup-Truck race :grumpy:

Car - A fridge (Chap 2J) - Cost about 14 million when I bought it from the ucd and I have ever only done oil changes on it (and bought some soft's when needed).

Why - This thing has won me 100's of millions in every seasonal I can get it in (A & B Spec), and is still doing so. Can't go wrong if you got one of these.👍:D

Worth it: GT86 '12
Why: I just can't get enough of this little gem. I have 36 of them in my garage.

Not worth it: R35 '12
Why: I don't think adding fairy lights to the R35 '07 is worth 1 Cr., let alone $1.

Worth it: Tommykaira ZZII
60k?! Seriously?!

Not worth it: McLaren MP4-12C
Awful awful car stock, understeers so horribly >.<

On another note, am I the only one who hesitates whenever spending more than 2 million on cars in the UCD and OCD?
"Ohh... it's a lot of money... and the car'll probably appear again later..."

Which car worth more the money spent ?
Ferrari 458 Italia

Why?
Easiest and shortest way of saying this is that this car is the perfect combination of power, engineering, speed, beauty, balance, weight, and HANDLING. Having all of those in 1 car is not that easy to find these days..

Which car didn't worth the money spent ?
All the Lamborghini's honestly.. they all handle soooo badly! especially the Murcielago LOL. The thing is a tank!!! The Ferrari F1's are pretty bad spend of money also since you can only use them in a one-make race :(

Wow really? I thought the MP4-12C was a FANTASTIC car!
My top 3 favorite normal production cars in this game are
-458 Italia
-McLaren MP4-12C
-SLS AMG
they all handle so great and have a nice speed too!
