This must've been here for a while before I got here, because hardly anyone was paying attention to it. Usually, it steals the crowd.

The diesel clatter of these old Mercs is pleasing to my biased ears.

Having the three-pointed star atop the hood is so much classier than having it on the grille.

For a rather overpriced $39k, this 18,000 mile 1981 Firebird could be yours.

What a diesel-like redline.

Its bumper is bigger than the Lancer's entire front end.

That's a fruity outfit.

Local car show that happens every 6 months (basically). I've seen a few of these guys driving around but most I haven't.
Was really surprised to see a '69 GT500 and a 308 GTS. And an electric VW bus, that was boss.

And that was my first time entering a car dealership alone just to take a look at the cars and take pictures of them, without no real intention of buying...

It was less awkward than I expected. The people didn't seem to mind me just poring and looking around. At the end, I finally got in a good conversation with one of the mechanics though. I didn't tell him I was gonna post the pictures online when he asked about them, I only said it's "just for the memories." He was working on the transmission of the Turbo-bodied 911 Carrera in the last picture.

Some trivia from the talk include him saying that most of the buyers are from Europe. He said classic Porsches in the US tend to stay in better condition than those in Europe, as here there aren't so many cases of heavy rain and snow, reducing potential for rust. He also made a comment on some of the buyers getting these cars just because they have the money and they want to make an investment, keeping them still in their garages and selling them after their value goes up. He said that these people tend to only know the fact that they're called Porsche 911s, and not even aware of the cars' generation numbers. When he was on that part he seemed kinda sad and disappointed in tone, but in the end he said, "But again, they're the customers..."

This was inside JEM Motor Corp in Hollywood. The F50 was veiled and it was a little bit smaller than what I imagined its girth to be like. Then, one of the guys in the dealership took the veil off, and its presence just boomed! Now it seemed a lot bigger. This was absolutely, dramatically beautiful, and there's nothing weird I felt about its proportions. It was much better in person than in pictures, and after seeing it I still don't get why a lot of people can hate its exterior styling so much. In terms of its tangible form, it was undoubtedly the most beautiful man-made creation I have ever seen.
The person that took the veil off for me even allowed me to touch the paint. Taking a close look, the carbon fiber weaving was very apparent, but when you felt it, it was seamlessly smooth. I didn't feel any creases. He said that around five F50s are lost already and by that he meant they were totally gone and unrepairable.
