@NoobMan DS I can't believe what shows up at Car & Coffe some times. "yeah we're just hangin' out and then Danny Thompson's Challenger II makes the scene. Casual". wtf.

Yeah, sometimes when you're too busy encircling the lot, you don't notice the other terrific things that arrived. When you go back to where you started from, you see things that you thought weren't there. And the cycle continues...

Say, I didn't realize that there was a replica of the GT40 MkI during either the second or third time at the event, I only noticed it when it was leaving. I finally caught it parked on my fourth visit...

Some unexpected things genuinely startled me when I was simply walking down a row, like the 917. I thought it's gonna be filled mostly with 911s all the way.

Also, I'll for one leave here a link (as it's useless to post them here in the forum since a gallery for the event is already created at the website I work for) to a set of pictures for the annual air-cooled VW pilgrimage event, Mexico's very own Treffen, which this year had the very special visit of the VW37 prototype directly from the VW museum in Wolfsburg:

Well, I went back to the FT Walton Beach BMW/Mercedes dealer and the Toyota dealer that was next to it. I didn't run into that many cars that caught my interest.

I was hoping to find a BMW i8 here, but no. There were a bunch of i3s though. This is the first time I've seen on in white.

There was this S65 AMG on the side of the dealer.

Of course, I saw this M4 & M3 at the front of the dealer.

Behind the Toyota Dealer, I saw my first FJ45 Land Cruiser. It's quite mean looking.

A Z32 300ZX that I might have seen before.

Near the 300ZX was this SW20 MR2 that is not in the best shape.

I was lucky to spot these cars after only going to C&C Irvine for a few times. (I hope this - http://jalopnik.com/legendary-cars-and-coffee-irvine-reportedly-shut-down-1671490655 isn't for real) It looks like some of the cars displayed in SEMA got shown in C&C Irvine afterwards. The Crawford FL15 (the Formula Lites car) was also there once.

Argh...I missed some cars I supposedly should've seen in the L.A. Auto Show! Like the BladeGlider Concept and the Shelby GT350, for example. I spent almost five hours inside, and I still forgot to check those out! Nevertheless, I really enjoyed my time there, including when I was going in and out of the ordinary cars, like, say, a Nissan Versa Sedan SV. Lots of plasticky bits, but I kinda felt at home sitting in that subcompact sedan. I also tried out sitting in cars that I know I probably will never think of buying, like a Ram 2500 truck. It's too bad that they wouldn't let you get into some of the newer cars, like the new MX-5, the 991-generation 911 Carrera GTS, and the Mercedes-AMG GT S Edition 1.

Also, I think the 911 race car on display was a 911 GT America, not a 911 GT3 Cup.
