@ Rue - Are you back in the UK permanently now? Great shots, love the rear splitter on that mini, also any idea what that black MG is packing under the bonnet, and is that 356 the real deal? I wouldn't be yawning if I was driving that

We went to Goodwood for the Festival of Speed yesterday, and somehow ended up with 269 photo's. :crazy:

In fact, the weather really wasn't too bad. We got there at 7am when it opened and left at 7pm when it closed, and probably only had about two hours of rain over those 12 hours.

We just went into the forest section to watch the rally cars when it rained and stayed dry that way!

We arrived around 10.30 and decided to wait a bit to go on the track because it was so crowded. When the track re-opened around 18.00 we had time to do 1 lap

I have never seen it so busy at the ring, not even on carfreitag :eek:

Traffic jam on the straight at the end of our lap :lol:

Went to my first ever autocross event by a local club in Maine. First ever that I've been to and was able to get a ride with the driver of the supercharged Pontiac Solstice. Great fun, despite the driver getting a DNF for hitting a cone. Doesn't compare much to most posts here. :indiff:

I'll organize these by the cars. If this isn't the appropriate thread for autocross cars (Mainly due to the fact that they are mainly common cars), I'm sorry and I'll move this post to the appropriate thread. :scared:

First arriving, spotting the drivers' cars.

Favorite generation of Legacy on BBS wheels. :dopey:

Saab Sonnet that had an oil leak, so it was parked for some nice viewing.

MX-5 Miata owned by the son of one of the organizers.

Porsche 911 GT3! (Was at the event, but never saw it race. It was spotted on the way out from the event so apologies for the bad picture)
