I don't have the time to separate these between this thread and the E&S thread.

I forgot to add that the Firebird (it is a Firebird, right?) in the picture with the sinkhole museum in the background had a 5.4L engine. I didn't even know they came with those...

5.4?

I thought they came with 5.7L(350 C.I) and 5.0L(305 C.I)? A 5.4, or maybe 5.3 might be a LS1 engine. And no they didn't come with LS's in those years. It would be a engine swap most likely.:D:tup:

Yeah I thought it was weird being a 5.4L as well. I'm positive it said 5.4 on it, so it had to be an engine swap. :)👍

You are likely thinking of the 5.3L Vortec. They used it in everything from trucks to cars and even the performance oriented SSR pickup. However it didn't come in the bird, but people do swap them them.

The 5.3L Vortec is literally a modern day revision of the 327 from the 1960's. They just added fuel injection :)

I'm 100% sure it said 5.4L though. I can even zoom in and see the 5.4L badge that I saw on the side.

Could be, I forgot about the Vortec:tup: , but I don't think it ever came in a Firebird as you said. It was mainly used in trucks and some FWD cars like the Malibu I think. Good point though.

GM do make 5.3L LS engines 4.8L is the smallest they made I think.

Looks like a Ford 5.4 badge.:eek::D

Yeah the only performance vehicle I can think of that it came in, at least in Vortec form, was the SSR truck. The old carbed 327 came in all sorts of stuff.

Yes, there are several variants of both the 4.8/5.3L engines, some LS based, others not.

I can't quite tell.

cropping is awesome!

And, not sure if really good, but only 6000 made in 1996, basically just a ram with stickers, 7% more hp, go-fast stripe, and some cosmetic changes to grille and exhaust tips. Kinda good, I guess, first I've seen, and the Indy Pace car editions always catch my eye.

Found an E36 M3 yesterday.

I thought that its number plate was 'M3 EVO' at first, but at closer inspection, it turns out that it's 'M3 EWO'

I didn't know that they were made in Purple. O_O

Cool! :)👍 I see them all the time over here (naturally lol) and so I had no idea they only made 6000 of them. Shame that one seems to be used as a DD and not taken care of...
