It was from the late 80's till the late 90's. I think they did most of the R&D work on the new Mini. BMW had bought Rover so I guess that's how they came to acquiring Mini and releasing the new one.

Aston Vanquish. Beautiful blue color.

@Wiegert @Clark Would you guys consider a 1993 Ford Escort RS2000 or a Rover 2000 a good spot? just wondering whether it's worth posting up.

Not sure about a MkV RS2000. If I saw a good one I'd probably throw it in provided I had some other decent spots to go with it.

Definitely worth posting the Rover 2000 though.

I could use a judgement call here. I've been seeing a few Saab 9-2Xs (the rebadged WRX wagon) around here lately, the most recently being one next to me in traffic today. I didn't take a picture due to laziness, but I want to know if you guys think those are worth photographing or not.

While on the topic of Saabs, I'd like to know if Saab 9-5's are good spots. They're rare (or so I've heard) and I've seen a few of them around.

Also, someone should make a thread for these types of questions. I don't like to make threads though...

Edit: I should add that it is Gen II 9-5's I'm talking about. Is there another Saab that looks like it that I could be mistaking it for? I've seen at least 5 around here.

I never see those and I live in New York. I'd say snap it.

Yay!!!! Dagger's was the next thread post I was alerted about, so I saw in my email that it was him and was skeptical when coming to the thread, but success! Made me smile! Old 240Z's are always good spots, even in whatever condition that is...

And I've wondered about 9-5's myself... Saabarus are cool/novelty, since they're rare, but Subarus are not so much, not in base trim. But heck yeah I'd take a picture of one and post it here, such a curiosity. In fact the one I saw I did post here last summer!

@ilikewaffles11 has been checking them before I post, to see if you guys would like them. I stopped taking pictures of econoboxes now, but there's still a lot of 80's american cars (my soft spot) and stuff. Oh, and Mustangs. I can never have too many mustang pictures.

But anyway, glad to see the Datsun was a success.

Jaguar of some sort. I should know full well about it since I wrote about that generation for one of the magazines but for the life of me can't remember the letter soup that is the name of those things.

1977 Mercury Cougar Station Wagon. According to information I've read elsewhere, because of the lacking woodgrain sidetrim this is not a Villager, but a basic version simply called 'Station Wagon'. I guess it's sort of rare (or at least here, I've never seen another one).
