Well it's not the 911 I've been hunting, but a very nice spot anyway.

!

XLR's if not rare, are certainly very uncommon, I've maybe seen 3 here in Cleveland. And they're definitely cool. I'd love to see an XLR-V one of these days...
OK, back story. I've never heard/seen the XLR and I saw 2 yesterday.
Guess what I saw today?

Can you guess? Why do you think I quoted Jeff?
Because XLR-V, that's 🤬 why!

And slightly less cool but still rather rare- CL63 AMG, which is actually one of my favorite Mercedes.

Okay, Green Charger Daytona.

And here's a story with proof at the end.

Once upon a time, there was a young boy. This boy loved the restaurant called "Subway." After exiting subway with his sandwich, him and his friend headed home. On the way, this pulled up:

Well, I still can't post my pictures yet since my computer isn't here yet.
I do have another story though, so yeah; for all you know, this never happened! This occured yesterday.

I was driving to school in the morning and when I stopped at an intersection, I noticed in the shopping center parking lot to my right a Chevrolet Corvair in a light blue color, I also noticed that it had a grill/vent on the front end of it. I then went the rest of the way to school and saw on my way a car under a blue car cover, but not completely covered; it looked like a dodge challenger. I pass by this car every other day when I go to class and back, but never take a picture since I'm driving on a main road and it can get busy. When I arrived at the school, I immediately saw a mk3 Toyota Supra in silver pull away.

Later on, I had to go to my work for a bit for a meeting (I work at a Mcdonalds) and once again, I arrived at that same intersection as before and immediately saw a red 1963 Corvette (I saw the split window on the back) pass by, but couldn't whip out my camera in time for a picture. When I got to the Mcdonalds, the manager wanted to have the meeting outside since it was a nice day for once. The Mcdonalds is on a very busy type of road and boy did I see some cars; I saw a few corvettes pass by and one drove into the restaurant (I didn't take a pic since it was a normal C6 Conv). There was also that Mercury Comet that I posted here a while back, a Mazda MX-5 Miata Club, a classic Ford Mustang, and a few other cars that I can't seem to remember. So yeah, that's my story that may or may not have happened.

There's too many stories without pictures lately. :indiff:

Meh, I don't mind them, cause let's be honest: if you need to lie to a bunch of strangers about whether you saw a car or not, you're pretty pathetic.

I know, but I can't post any of my actual pictures until I get a new computer. The one I'm using, I'm restricted from uploading pictures on it. It's just for web searching right now.

Also, I think that's enough XLRs for now!

To me, at least, it's pretty disappointing to see some new replies in the DYSAGT thread and just see a bunch of paragraphs with no pictures.
Yeah, it is kind of disappointing to have a post with no pictures, but here's an example.

Person 1:
I saw a C7 Corvette today.

Very bland, no context, they don't even give a color, this should be flagged as spam in my opinion.

Person 2:
I saw a C7 Corvette today. It was red, and looked as though it was right off the dealership, except for a small scratch on the side. I was driving down the interstate, and it was in the oncoming lane, so even if I managed to get a picture with my crappy cell phone camera, it would have just been a red blur anyway.

This one gives detail. It describes the color, condition, what the person was doing at the time, and why they were unable to get a picture. These are the ones I don't mind.

Another rule of thumb, only make a post without a picture if it's a really rare car. I've posted Novas without pictures before, which was wrong because, although Novas are cool, I'm in the South, where they are merely uncommon. Remember when I said I kept one secret? That was a tiny Mint green Volkswagen Bus that was in great condition, albeit a little banged up. I had no way to take a picture, my tablet was dead. This is an example also of something I'd say do it. If I missed a Lamborghini Aventador, of course I'm going to tell everyone about it! But if I miss say, even a Jaguar XKR convertible, I'd keep it to myself, as these aren't ultra rare.

But, that's just my opinion, and my reasoning for having said opinion. If the vehicle is described in at least decent detail, I don't mind hearing about it.

If I see cars and miss getting a picture of it I won't even post about them here. If I have a pic to back it up I'll post what I see.

Can't you upload them from your phone to here? I do that sometimes with my Iphone 5s.
No, I can't, and if I could, that sounds tedious to do; mess with a touch screen for an hour moving pictures up to my flickr and then on GTPlanet. I rather use a mouse and keyboard. I'm just taking pictures for now and saving them on my phone until my new computer comes in the mail.

It's very tedious from my tablet, which is the only way I get pictures.

I upload pictures from my phone almost every time I post... it takes like 20 seconds. No need for flickr.

How though? I was convinced that you needed an account on some picture website to post pictures on GTPlanet.

Should be a upload a file link under the post reply link then you can choose the pics that are on your phone, that's what is on my Iphone.

Why not wait to post until you're able to upload the pictures? 💡

I either saw this guy twice or saw a car very similar to this one a second time. Either way, I only got this pic.

Agreed. If you don't have a picture, it's a bit pointless to even post about it to be honest. I don't mind it when people say they missed something in a post of their other spots, but stories are a bit pointless. No matter how long it is.
