Actually, that G-Wagon Mercedes you posted looks like a G63 AMG, it can't be a G55 since they weren't made with LED lights I believe.

It said something like that? THe badges were blacked out/smoked looking, they matched the exterior color nicely.

And, I'm not the only one who took a photo of a Daytona today! And nice little story, after the shot I edged up alongside so I could thumbs up the guy when he noticed me (50ish fellow?) and boy did he grin ear-to-ear to see somebody give his old car some love!


and.. maybe technically "showroom", spotted something through a fence in what looked more like a junkyard...
Celica Supra, the guy who owned the lot was very nice, too! ("They don't make 'em like they used to..." true dat!, buddy!) And I know where I can find somebody who has one of these, so I think I'll go let him know where he can find a parts car!

1957 Plymouth Belvedere 2-door hardtop spotted in Berkeley today. Should have a 301 V8.

My dad had a 57 Savoy when I was born, so 57 Plymouths have always been my favorite car from the 50's, so I was pretty excited to see this.

Thought it was the Olds I saw a while ago, same color. What about on the far right? It had zebra stripes on the side, if I got those I'd have stuck it in the questionable mods thread.

That was on University. I had to check the uncropped photo to figure out the cross-street...it's California St. The pizza place is called North Beach Pizza (never been there), and the pink building is the Out of the Closet thrift shop, which is hard to miss.

Yeah..The only real difference is the wheelbase. Most everything else engine and suspension wise interchanges.👍

My face was like that as well. The only reason I was taking video was because he was doing burnouts in traffic before I started taking video.

Also, question for everyone- does anyone else go through the backgrounds of other posts, trying to find other good cars? Or am I just weird?

A neighbor of mine bought a Corvette Z06!!! I got video of him in it. He's a really nice guy. He's the same guy with a '03-ish Mustang GT convertible, HHR SS, old Chevy truck, and Bel Air. I've also seen a modified C5 Corvette there, but I'm assuming it was just a visitor.

Included in video: I'm not telling you, find out for yourself.



The guy delivering the car looked and sounded like Hisham Tawfiq (Dembe) from the Blacklist. The guy in the white is the owner.

I swear I saw that Lincoln two days prior. I followed/stalked it for a block or two, but, failed to find it. Today I see this cool green Olds and start walking towards it..BAM, Lincoln Town Car.

I think this is the first time I've had a neighbor with an actual nice car. A friend that lives a few houses down used to own about 4 or 5 Fox bodies and a 2007 Mustang but sold all the FB's and is selling the '07. It'll be nice to see it everyday.

You would have been jealous of my next door neighbor. Had 2 Firebirds, one was a bright red 1976 and the other was I think a 71

1975 had a separate bumper. The molded front bumper into the body didn't start until 78. Base cause it doesn't have the vents on the fenders. Could be a 75 with a front clip though. Possible, but I doubt it. Same though, dig the second gens.
