O_O *goes back to check pictures* Wha..?
I'm assuming that you're talking about those safety test stickers right? I just noticed that no cars in FL have them. I guess they don't issue them or something like how we don't have to put license plates on the front ends of our cars here.
No. Here in NY we have 2 stickers in the bottom right corner of the windshield. One has your inspection expiration date punched in it and the other has your registration bar code and VIN with a description of the vehicle.

Yeah, those are the stickers I'm talking about. I just forgot what they were called. *brain fart*
I remember having them in CT and when I lived in VA, but oddly enough; Florida I guess doesn't issue them.

Seems like a mirage converted to a Evo. A couple of people have done this. One was for sale a while back in Illinois for 11k.
I remember seeing one posted up on the Mighty Car Mods forum. Couldn't remember the state, but some member in the US had done that to his Mirage. Was quite surprised at how similar the Mirage actually was to the Lancer.

I'm so used to seeing them that something looked very wrong lol.

That generation of the Mirage and Lancer uses essentially the same chassis. They are essentially the same car with different names.

I know someone who converted a Mirage into an Evo VI, with a bunch of genuine JDM Evo parts as well.

Dare I say, the American model name compared to the Lancer was merely a Mirage?

 I understand, it is sort of funny how I didn't notice that after living in 2 states most of my life that had those stickers issued.
I looked at them 3 times trying to figure out if they were stolen or something.

I figured they were the same car considering the different markets. It wasn't until I found myself browsing that I realized the similarities. Especially the taillights.

In Kentucky we don't have window stickers, we only have a dated sticker we put on the corner of our licence plates every year.

As in Ohio... and no vehicle inspections, which now that I know other states have them, I wonder why we don't. Only E-tests every 2 years t make sure you're not contributing to poor air quality. But only in the big counties. Or, stupidly, in the counties downwind of the big counties.

Did he just make it look like it or did he literally convert it, which I'm guessing he did. I've always wanted one but can careless if it's turbo and etc.

Isn't one year of the mirage similar to the Evo 1,2,3 also?. I saw one at my job with the similar tailights.

I finally caught it!! I've been seeing this around for the past year and a half and FINALLY caught it stationary!!

Please tell me this thing is real.

I think it's just a Mirage? It has 5 lug Evo IV wheels, but it lacks an Intercooler, and all evo IV's are RHD (apart from RS versions that you could order LHD at that time iirc.)

didn't expect to, what with all the ghetto driving between work and back, but the way home was pretty good!

I'm not happy with the new style of sharing through flickr, it wasn't easy before but now the size changes constantly.
