A wonderful piece of engineering, packaging, and style; popular throughout the world, and multiple race winner. And a Ferrari:

Spotted outside a bar about a half mile from my house.

Very good pictures! Wonderful looking car and I would love to see one.

I had my camera handy the other day:

I saw a yellow Lamborghini Gallardo going the opposite way on the freeway. It definitely does not have the same presense has a Diablo, or even a Murcielago. Only reason I noticed it was because it was a giant yellow blur.

Well they never look like that because I clean them regularly, my friend has the same car I do (mercedes 300E) and his wheels look worse than the E63 in that Photo.

Well, cleaning them regularly will certainly do that. :) I've seen that a lot of German cars (old and new alike) generally have extremely dirty front wheels. But they also tend to stop better. I'm sure there's a connection there somewhere....

Poor quality, but you get the idea - the first coupe model, M or not (though this is an M) I've seen on the roads. I really like the look of it.

It looks so much better in person than in photos, and the coupe looks much better than the convertible in either instance. The black looks nicely menacing.

That's the first Civic Si sedan I've seen on the road, and also, unbelievably, the first Honda I've ever photographed. Texas plates.

That is rather unbelievable. The Si is rather common here, and was quickly picked up. However, I have a Honda listed below that is not so common. At least not anymore. :D

The carbon fiber hood (or one that's just painted black) seems to be the #1 modification people do to ITR's, even before wheels & exhaust. It's a fantastic car, but is there some glare or front-end weight problem I'm not aware of? Oh, wait: the car attracts lots of ricers. <kidding! kidding!!>

Couldn't be sadder though - after seeing it, I went online to check the inventory at Morgan of the Rockies, the only Morgan dealer between Dallas and Los Angeles, located near Denver. Turns out it's been shut down - the former website says:

That is a shame, but I think it may be part of the general current change in the auto industry. If Jaguar can finally get their XK to look modern, and if American cars can return to rear-wheel-drive, then there's really no need for quirky old-world sports cars. Maybe Morgan needs to update things, too. I would start with ditching the wooden frame....

Probably a precaution to get people to stop. Nice shots there Doug! 👍

As if the blazing yellow wouldn't do it by itself. :D

So on with the old junk:

Ford Escort wagon - Ironic that somone driving an STI should take a photo of a p.o.s. wagon with WRX STI badges on the back. If this is your car, or if you know who drives this car, please publicly humiliate this person on behalf of all those with common sense. :dunce:

BMW M3 Cabriolet E36 - It was mentioned that this is a somewhat rare car, but you wouldn't know it living near me. They're obviously not as common as the M3 Coupe, but definitely more so than the Sedan. Edmunds says it was out for 2 years, though (1998 & 1999).

Jeep Cherokee pre-1978

Bunch of kids hiking or skiing or I don't know what. Oldest Cherokee I've ever seen; I didn't even know they were made that long ago. Does anyone know what year this one is? I have a front picture, too, if it's needed.

Honda Civic 1200 ~1975

Another blast from the past, also in fantastic condition. It's post CVCC, but pre-1980. I totally neglected to get a front shot, so I can't tell what year it is. Cute little thing, even with the hood scoop & vents.

I agree that the coupe looks better than the convertible, but not by much - and I have to say that with the M add-ons, both vehicles are gorgeous. I'm not a huge base-Z4 fan, but the M is menacing. The M Coupe is just evil.

What's really hilarious is that in the E36 M3 convertible shot you've included (by random chance) a Civic Si sedan. They are common elsewhere, people have told me, but it's my first. I wasn't even aware they were making them until I ran across a thread on this site with people lamenting on how many they'd seen.

 I'm not so sure - have you checked prices of ITRs? Most ITRs I see are stock - typically because the owners have enough money to have enough sense not to throw stupid mods at them.

It must not be as rare as I wish it to be, because I see them with surprising regularity too. But you've got to admit - it's unbelievable that BMW would release this thing literally four months before the new model debuts.

The WRX/Escort is hilarious. I'm not going to knock the WRX, which I love, but if I were putting any poser badges on my beater Escort it would probably be Bentley or Ferrari or something - the WRX choice is just weird.

Have you tried the Tech center area yet? Lots of money down there!

Lots of nice cars are reported by F-chat members in that area, but I live here in Denver so it's not easy for me to get down there. Honestly between Cherry Creek and downtown I get my fill - and the cars this week have been nothing less than spectacular.

Very nice quality photos for a camera in low light. What model camera was used if you don't mind me asking?

BTW: Did you manage to snap any shots of that classic Mini parked behind the red stallion? It looks to be in car show condition. 👍

The Ferrari shots were taken on a Nikon D40, left in fully auto (still learning the camera and photography in general).

Photos from the day I bought her, back to school, outside Goodwood House and on the FoS startline:

Photos from a Samsung thingy. EDIT: forgot to say the in school pictures aren't mine.

(You gave me an oppertunity to show off my car... silly idea ;) Sorry for the overkill :))

Thank you for the kind comments!

Nice car...but for the love of pete. Clean the brake dust off your front wheels man!:sly:

I do. Honestly! It comes back in about a week. Plus I was never that good on the whole washing-my-car-often thing.

Well even in auto mode, it obviously takes great low light photos!

Thanks for the great pics (I especially like the one with the Goodhouse backdrop). You should show off that car more often, it's brilliant! 👍

Just tell everyone you like to take it deep into corners and call it good.

Saw this prime RT10 viper at the Golf course today along with a red Z06 Vette and a Black Cayman S.

Diesel R Class. Never seen one

brake dust = satan's poo
seriously one of my favorite cars though, what year is it Roo?

K reg, 1992.

Just tell everyone you like to take it deep into corners and call it good.

I do go hard into corners. Usually. Remember, speed limits apply in the corners too!

Nice Italian Job, Roo. 👍

Thanks :) Is it you who's got a similar Mini? I noticed one of the mods has one.

Edit: Sweet! A fellow K reg BRG limited edition Mini owner :D

Good job with the snakes, benyrrr 👍

Nice shot - note the SRT-10 wheels.

Cobra. I think its real,

I don't.

Decent day today:

Arizona plates. Tough shot out of my dirty front window. No need to go around for a second shot as these aren't too rare.

911_turbo_997-031607.jpg

Hard to believe it's been eight months since I saw my first 997 Turbo.

turbo_r-031607.jpg

Either a Brooklands or a late Turbo R - either way it's right before the Arnage came out, so it's pretty valuable unlike many of these older Bentleys. Temporary plates.

Weak night tonight, which is weird considering it's a Friday and the weather's been so incredible. Caught this:

tundra-031607.jpg

The new Tundra. I promptly sent a text message to one of my car friends - "just saw a new tundra and promptly threw up". Actually, I've been liking the vehicle a lot more ever since Car & Driver got a 6.1sec 0-60 time and a 6.2sec street start time. The damn thing moves.

You forgot the most important features: The double gloveboxes and the filing cabinet in the armrest (from the Toyota Tundra debut last year)! I mean, that is exactly what you need in your truck, right?

...Silverado, hands down...

I saw the rather rare Infiniti M35X (AWD) today, and I couldn't get a good picture on the RAZR while driving. Now that I know how to zoom, it may work better next-time. Most of the M-Classes, BTW, are '45 spec, and are normally RWD. So, the M35X is a rarity around here...
