I also saw a Gallardo coming back from the Astros game but I couldn't manage to get a pic.

whatever Chan Fung Kee is, I want some of it, now! Is that really how far out those rear wheels are supposed to be?!?

hmmm.... probably not entirely thread appropriate, but since it's an edit of an appropriate post, at least it won't piss anybody off by drawing them here unnecessarily...

just pulled the rest of my old early spotting days photos out of Imageshack and into Flickr, late 2011 to early 2012, so most folks here haven't seen any of these spots... (well, except grandpa Cano and uncle Rue...) 396 photos in total, so get your clicking finger ready...

and just for fun (remember I'm a car spotter, 99% of my photos are of cars), my 18/2455 photo... https://flic.kr/p/mjZt4v

I've never seen one before, I like them but don't know how rare they are.

yum, Z31 1987-1988! And P1800=Amazon, right? Only beautiful Volvo I can think of...

488

some sort of Aston, first of the year! and pan fail...

not just for show, this thing had some get up and go! wonder what he does with it... tires too skinny for drag... drift S10? do people do that?

not sure what this is, Accord? Tastefully done imo.

more popup headlights! And my 2nd recent S12 Silvia, 200SX. Was able to chat with the owner, 280k miles and 15 Cleveland winters and still going! Told him where to find the other I'd seen in case he's considering a parts car/2nd one, and he seemed interested.

wonder what this is... lol

saw this go by earlier, missed the shot, later found where it lives! and a cutie lady owner! 1965.

doesn't quite make up for the earlier pan fail... it's hard when you're driving, you know...

Caprice SS is loud!

what's up with all the kombis for me lately??

help

and thanks for the ID's guys!

Thanks! That helped me to search a little, so 1st gen Vanquish, and looks like an S! 1/1086 if that's the case, yay! Too bad about my shot, maybe I should've turned around and given chase for a better shot...

Nope, the Amazon was a 4-door saloon/sedan (plus an estate/station wagon variant) whilst the P1800 was a 2-door coupe (also with a station wagon variant), quite different cars, both really nice :)

3 prototype P1800's were built on the Amazon frame though. I think of the P1800 estate as a mini Amazon

@jeffgoddin the paint on the Caprice ss makes me think it used to be a police car, so it probably has a modified engine/ exhaust.

Mini? They are pretty much the same length. However (aside from the prototypes) they are not really similar cars, other than mechanically. Having seen both up close, neither are small cars believe me, though perhaps they are by US standards of that time. Not sure if you were correcting me there but all I was saying is that they are significantly different cars :)

They were huge but the P1800 was "cute" compared to the Amazon
