That F150 flareside is that same one from the early to mid 80s. Love those trucks!

I was feeling good about myself for finally taking a photo in public. Usually I'm too shy and I end up missing spots. But then @poolhaas goes and posts all those awesome photos and I get sad again.

Anyway, here it is. A nicely done '06 Evo 9.

Me and you are complete opposites . I walked right up to that red C1 without a care in the world. Two girls were staring at me, but I didn' t care, I'm not doing anything illegal by photographing subjects on public access property.

Now technically, I have to ask permission if it isn't visible from the highway, but I never take pictures of ones that aren't, so...

I wish I was more outgoing when it comes to taking photos of wild spots. If I'm at a car show, I'm the complete opposite, and I crouch down to get arty photos and everything. Out in public? I just stare and hope my mind takes a picture. I was originally going to leave it because it was hidden by traffic, but the traffic cleared and the Evo was waiting to turn, so I took my chance. :P

Believe me, I was shy too 6 months ago, wondering what people might think if I took a photo.
Now, I coulnd't be bothered anymore. The driver of the Viper even stopped on the busy road to pass me a flyer.

Trust me, anyone cruising around in a Corvette or Bentley or whatever, probably wants the attention . Hell, I liked someone's 90-something skylark. He was walking out of the gas station, I walked up to him and said "Hey man, nice car! Mind if I take a picture?" He was absolutely amazed someone liked his car that much . It's times ten if someone has, like, a vintage Impala or something.

How did you overcome the shyness? Even when I took that Evo photo, I tried to hide my iPod.

I'd even be too shy to approach them and talk to them. I used to be such a loud and outgoing kid, and then high school happened and now look at me. :scared:

I'm serious. Pick ten people going out to their (reasonably nice) cars, and compliment them. Most people are more than happy if you promise to cut the license plate. Depending on where you live.

Sometimes I try and hide my phone, usually if the car looks really boring. Other than that though, I don't really try and hide it. You can try acting like you're using your phone/ipod and snap a pic quickly... I don't think it's a big deal.
