Ferrari F355 spider in for service, plus a Maserati Ghilbi in the reflection.

That FJ60 is so right. I love that beige color on them for some reason, and that roof rack.

Looks like my dad's old 60, except his was brown. I wish he still had that.

Few spots from this month

Clean 5th gen Celica GT convertible that was at my house a little while ago, friend of my dad's daughters car. Wouldn't post but it is extremely clean which is rare for a 180 series Celica now adays.

All of these taken with my new camera. :D Which I just realized look a lot worse on here because I didn't wanna post them in their full size. Oh well.

So Jacob, it looks like you're not the first in your family to be smitten with the Toyotas of the 80s and 90s... Guessing that's your dad's garage, very clean! Just curious, what kinds of cars did you have growing up?

Yup, we moved in November and now have a really awesome huge garage for all of his cars. It's a car guys dream. :D

He always had one or two old Toyotas when I was growing up, I'll try and remember all of the more interesting ones, but I'm sure I'll miss a few. It's no doubt where I got my love for them. :P

- MK2 Supra black, and a very clean (but automatic) '85 Supra
-5th gen Celica GT (grey) and GTS (teal)
- AW11 MR2, gold
- FX16 Corolla GTS, white
- FJ60 Land Cruiser, brown
- 1st gen 4Runner, that blue plow truck and I think a red one
- 1st gen Camry
- 2nd gen Camry Alltrac
- Previa Alltrac
- 80 series land cruiser

And the rest was just your run of the mill stuff. Tons of Camrys, third gen 4Runners, a highlander, 4th gen 4Runner, Corollas, so on and so forth. Plus a couple Lexus', mostly older stuff.

He currently has several,
- '87 Supra
- SW20 MR2
- '92 Celica Alltrac Turbo ST185

So you could say he's had a few. :P And now the nice thing is I actually get to drive and experience all of them, so my love for them has just grown lately.

Wow that's a lot of All-tracs! Didn't know it was available on so many models. All-trac Celica had been my holy grail of spotting until I saw an ST165 drive past my front door in San Francisco. Still hoping to see an ST185...

Well now that you're back in the north, I figured you might be interested in this. In Bear Mountain in New York in October, there's a Toyota MR2 and Alltrac meet and cruise. I was planning on taking my little MR2 project up there when I get it done, if you're up for the drive. :P

I've never seen an ST165 actually, I really want one. The only other 185 I've ever seen was at the Toyota museum.

Sorry to double post, been waiting for somebody to post for a while now. Went out spotting again today not expecting to see much. Was mistaken.

FJ62 Land Cruiser!! :D

The shop next door was a treasure trove. And the owner was super cool and let us head out back.

Why we stopped, Celica Sunchaser!!!! It's a California car with a 5 speed manual and he said the owner wants $2K for it. I really want it.

I'm currently in Virginia due to an unfortunate event in my family, but I did still attempt to spot things while I'm here.

First, I saw this old Chevrolet at an Auto Shop. I think it's an early 60s Bel-Air, but I'm not sure. I'm sure some GM fan will correct me.

Next, I saw this muddy Toyota mk.4 Pickup at a Mcdonalds.

Finally, I actually caught a few successful shots of cars while on the move for once.

My 3rd BMW 8-Series posted here and it's in blue! :D

A 50th Anniversary Chevrolet Corvette Convertible and it was during a cloudy day.

Finally, I saw this old Ford; which I think is a Fairlane.

I just went through all 5601 of my Flickr photos to make a new Album of Action shots, and holy cow, it took me forever to figure out how to get a decent photo of a moving car! Fully half way through and I only had like 4 or 5 good ones. Then it seems I got better at it, because in the 2nd half of my photostream I found another 150 good action shots! So keep working at it, there's hope even for those of us with pocket digis!

Yeah, that was one thing I figured out, I was getting focus too early and it was on the background not the car. By waiting until the last minute I certainly missed more spots, but I also had a much better chance of getting focus on the car.

I saw a red Hacura Integra Type R. It has an Acura front bumper but Honda Badges. We get the Honda in Europe so the owner must have put it on the car

Dear God that sounds impossibly scary. Is dat true?

Scary for sure. I thought it was a 350 until I noticed the size of the valve covers and the little red "502" emblem on the front of said valve cover.:scared::D

Here's a similar Boos Hoss in action (for reference).
