The Rocket Bunny Toyota GT86 of my dad's friend is finally done! It's equipped with the MPS GT400 Turbo package - which makes the car produce 400hp. It's got new Stop Tech brake calipers, new suspension, a custom made exhaust, new downpipe and wastegate, new wheels and tires, and of course the Rocket Bunny kit itself. I took a test drive with Frank (owner) today. It was awesome. He's got even bigger plans for next year! Either the car gets an upgrade to 600hp, or it gets a 2JZ.

Went for a walk round the posher parts of London yesterday. Saw least 7 Ferraris (FF, 2 F12s, 2 458s, 430 Scuderia, 430 Spider), a McLaren 650S, at least 5 Aston Martins, at least 4 Rolls Royces, at least 20 Bentley (walked down one side street with 3 Continentals parked on it) and a Jaguar XKRS Convertible. I get embarrassed taking photos of cars though, but snuck a couple in when no one was looking!

That's no American, I'd guess 1968 Taunus (not that I've ever seen one, but I stalk enough European carspotters on Flickr that I might actually be right!;))

and I thought this was cool, even though in fact it may be a terrible modification... huge intercooler pipes sticking out from below. buddy did research on the plate for me to confirm that it's a 1996 240SX (one of 7k or so here) and not a Silvia as it was badged. Dammit why didn't the US get the Silvia! :arrgh:

Actually, this front is from the same S14 Silvia (but an earlier one, "zenki" variant) as was sold as "240SX" in the US (that was a later, "kouki" model, also known as S14A). JDM-spec Silvias of this model year had the same front end as the USDM S14 240SX.

Well, all I have for now is... this.
