View attachment 536439 Unique find for US, especially up here in NH where they spray basically rust over the roads.

You made me go "Ohhhhhhh!!!!"

Yeah, 405 I think, too, spotted a 405 wagon in San Francisco last winter, seems the same in front. But a survivor Peugeot in New England is amazing! I've never seen one in Ohio where I live!

And I think it's time to get excited for spotting in the north of NA finally, possibly last frost tonight in Ohio, salt off the roads, sunny and warming, almost 70 on Saturday they say, I'm definitely going through a whole tank of gas as I have the day off work!

Some stuff finally came out today, and a few from before it got wintery again

okay, story. I was at work last Saturday, 7pmish, facing the front of the store (Autozone) which is a stretch of road where I've never seen a Ferrari or Lambo, only one Aston (and there's a dealership about 3 miles up the road) maybe 2 Bentleys. Not a bad neighborhood, but certainly not fancy. And as I'm idly staring out towards the street, what drives by? A black FF. Only the third FF I've seen, and not the one that is known to exist in Cleveland(yes, sadly, Cleveland is that kind of town... only one FF has ever been spotted here before.) I haven't moved so fast in I don't know how long, jumped out the door, camera out of my pocket (I'm a spotter, I ALWAYS have a camera in my pocket) but it was too dark, the one in-focus long-range shot I got was unrecognizable. After work, I headed to downtown Cleveland just in case, but no luck. A few AMG's though, here's one. Not much of a consolation. I love the FF, hope I spot that car around this year...

can't believe I didn't post this immediately, did I already post this? drove past an Advance Auto Parts (I'm an Autozoner) with a Marauder on the side, was thinking about turning around (had to make it on time to my sister's for Easter dinner) when I look up and what do I see? another Marauder, identical! I check my rear view, and sure enough he's pulling into Advance, okay yeah, gotta turn around for two of them, they gotta be together. but when I get there, no, not parked alongside, I walk in (should've put on my Autozone T for the lulz) and chat with the owner of the car that pulled in. totally unrelated to the car that was there, which was an employee's car. I asked if he wouldn't mind parking alongside for a photo and he graciously obliged. apparently there's going to be an owners convention here this summer with maybe 80 Marauders... well here's a preview:

It was merely a joke.
I wasn't laughing. I get what you meant but it wasn't exactly funny.
@jeffgoddin I'm pretty sure that's a 505. Here's another pic of one.

The 405 looks different.

Come on Gotbeef, I know you got game! Though it's still a bit early in the north for great spoting. Did spend about 6 hours myself driving around, some of the best I found today:

Well, in Hamburg we can see a lot of different, exotic and expensive cars. Last Saturday morning only I saw countless Porsches of all kinds, AMGs, R8s, 3 Bentleys, a RR, Teslas Model S, Fisker Karmas, Corvettes and Mustangs, among several others... But I only picked my camera to shoot these 2:

Porsche GT3 RS (first 991 RS I saw)
Aston Martin DB5 (first DB5 I have ever seen being driven... It was in prestige condition and getting quite some attention).

I'll add the pictures later on.

Was a great day today.

Then as I was leaving the place where the tesla was a AMG GT showed up behind me at a light, thankfully I was far enough ahead so I had time to pull in a McDonald's accross the street, so I got out of my car and was able to film it leave by the time their light turned green.

Then I passed it on a green light so I can see where it was going to turn luckily it pulled in a store so I turned around and found it.

Ah, ****, after 12 hours on the road today, I'm too lazy to edit everything down tonight. But I'll leave you with my closer for the day.

Mind you, I've seen exactly 2 Aventadors in Cleveland total, and I had no idea this one existed. So when I spotted it
aventador in beachwood by Jeff Goddin, on Flickr

and wasn't sure I got a good photo, I got onto the highway after it and followed for 20 miles or so until I could try for another photo
aventador in richfield by Jeff Goddin, on Flickr

holy crap did it sound awesome! he didn't speed, curiously, so I had no trouble keeping up. shift changes sound great, and on the side roads there was a big hill he transmission braked down, wow the crackle-and-pop!!

sorry for the rubbish quality, but pocket digi at night on the move, I'm actually pretty happy with the resolution

but yes, it was a crazy good April day in the north! a spotting buddy of mine keeps track of exotics spotted, and his best day was last June 6th with 34. He's had maybe 20 15+ days over the past 4 years, the earliest in mid May. Today he spotted 23 and counting.

 yeah the C43 is more interesting to me somehow, sure the AMG GT is more expensive and a great performer but I root for the underdogs... I've only seen one C43 in Cleveland, and like 8 AMG GT's, so...

This was an incredible find for me, though it may fall on deaf ears here, a Chevy Sprint in great condition! I totally just pulled a Uey and rolled up on the place, out in the middle of nowhere. Owner was great. He said when he goes to shows with it all the muscle cars get ignored! I'll refrain from posting all the photos I took but here's a couple:

yeah, yeah, another R8. the above Cali was the last Ferrari, too, I promise. but there's something special still ahead!

okay, yeah, it was up next, lol! A Huracan! the first I've spotted in Cleveland, and one that no other spotters had previously heard of! though, between this and the Sprint I'm hard pressed to pick a spot of the day...

and that's it! I left out most of the AMG's/M's and other meh/kind of cool but nor great shots. Incredible April weekend here in Cleveland Ohio!

I think Ohio has more exotics than Michigan, next Saturday is hopefully gonna be better exotic wise since I'm going to Detroit, I'll be going to Pasteiner's show on Woodward then Lingenfelter's. I also sent you a PM @jeffgoddin

No way does Ohio have more exotics, but you have to go to them. All those Ferraris were within a 3 mile radius, about 25 miles away from home for me. The Aventador also within that radius when I first spotted it, the Huracan was maybe 15 miles to the south, but still in the vicinity in a way. But on my side of town, just 5-10 miles to the west is another hotspot, where I found the Dawn this morning. Only 1/3 as productive as the east side of town, but so much closer... Since Thursday when I also had the day off, plus a few hours Friday, then most of yesterday, and 6 hours today, I've driven about 800 miles over 30 hours carspotting over the past four days.
