Totota Hi-Ace fire truck with Chinese writing all over it.

That's Japanese. This was a Japanese import.

Driving south on Rainier Ave S next to the shore of Lake Washington in south Seattle, listening to my new Shovels and Ropes CD. "That's an Autozam AZ-1. Dum dee dum nice music la dee da." Half a block later "Oh holy 🤬 that's an Autozam AZ-1!" Turn around, park, get pics. It's over 25 years old, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised to see one in the US now, but still, it's a freaking Autozam AZ-1 right here in Seattle. And it is tiiiiiiiiiiiny.

There's a few of them knocking around.

Spotted outside a Registry Office - not your usual vintage Rolls Royce wedding car - something much rarer and more sporting - a 1939 Lagonda LG6 Saloon. Designed by W.O. Bentley while Chief Engineer of Lagonda this car features a 4.5 litre, straight six Meadows engine and cost £1270 in 1939 (more than the price of a house). Modern features for the time include independent front suspension and dual circuit hydraulic brakes. Top speed approximately 100mph. There was also a faster and more expensive (£1800) 4.5 litre overhead cam V12 version.

There is a spare wheel cover on each running board behind the front wheel - one contains a spare - the other is faux and contains the tool kit and an inspection lamp!

Note I only had time to get one picture, but have included a dashboard snap taken by someone else.

Been out in Morocco the last few days, which is a bit of a haven for old Renaults and Peugeots. Probably the most interesting car I saw was this Renault Rodeo - a kind of Citroen Mehari rival built under license and based on the Renault 4 (which there are also loads of in Morocco). This is a 1981-1987 model - the car went through three iterations from 1970.

No pics but last summer on the local seafront I saw a (then) spanking new i8 parked nose to tail with a '32 Ford, absolutely gorgeous example. Just as I was scratching my head about which was the cooler car, a jet black McLaren 570 rumbled by. It is very rare to see anything nicer than a 3 series around here, our roads are not great. Proper sensory overload that day, smell of that Ford was glorious and the driver looked very pleased with himself as he rolled out deafening everyone on the beach. Should have got a pic, but not a camera guy and I walk with a brick phone cause im a little accident prone. While I'm here, during Ford takeover (not the best event, bags of focus STs) I could have sworn I saw an Escort RS1800 with a pickup bed. Bizzare.

Went to Detroit for a cars and coffee saw these after the show

Missed many great spots due to still not owning a dashcam, passing by too quick and sometimes being straight up embarrassed of taking a pic

Sorry if the S13 isn't exciting, but I always wanted to capture it.

I see you with that decal :sly: 👍

What I saw within the previous week, it's mostly American iron.

What looks to me like a Ford Fairlane, I have no clue what car is next to it.
EDIT: 1956 Chevy and an Oldsmobile.

When waiting for my food at an Arbys, I saw this LR Range Rover parked. I think it's a supercharged version based on the bumper.

At another restaurant, I noticed a 1980s Chevy Monte Carlo SS and 3200 Pickup truck.

A couple days later, I was passing through the same area to get Arbys again (my parents wanted me to pick it up). Anyway, I pulled into an Auto Zone Parking lot due to noticing this. A 1968 Dodge Dart.

Another LR Range Rover, I'm also guessing a supercharged one. I'm getting more convinced that Maryland is a Land Rover loving state.

Lastly, this Ford Shelby GT350.

I saw a Scimitar yesterday. I need to check my dashcam and post a screenshot of the Scimitar.
