I saw an old Z n jasper,alberta

and I have no idea if these are rare or not, so I took a photo anyway
dodge charger daytona

They might be rare in the rest of the country but here in Michigan I see at least 5 daily.

Bondy will be happy with me seeing this
In my village of Woodford Halse, home to, well not many.

couldnt resist the Ayrton Senna suspension shot:

oh, and I just found out I'm going to Puerto Banus again in february to own the thread for about a week before doug resumes kicking everyone else's ass.

Nice one GV, (you jammy git) ive only ever seen one NSX on the roads and, it too, was red.

Does it say 'ONE LIFE LIVE IT' on the side of that discovery? What the hell is that all about? :odd:

The past two days have been frustrating. I've seen far more than are posted in this message, but it's all been going opposite me in traffic. No chance for a photo. Anyway:

Chevrolet Bel Air

Don't know year, but the blue was beautiful.

Chevrolet Blazer

Not sure why it's got no roof, but it looked cool. Was that even a factory option back then?

Lexus IS300 Sportcross

Still awkward after all these years.

Mercury Marauder

It's a shame Ford didn't push this car more. They could have had thousands of these on the road with the police rather than the Charger. From what I hear, it was actually a pretty good car, too. Oh, and fuzzy == the suck.

Mercedes-Benz S55 AMG

Almost filler, I guess. Almost.

Aston Martin DB9 Volante

Simply beautiful. Too bad it's stuck in traffic in a failing town.

Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera

Two, actually, but they're both at a dealer. I guess it's just here for the pretty pre-fall colors. And the fact that they're Lamborghini's.

Nissan 350Z Nismo

This is one that almost escaped me. I saw it miles away going opposite me, where it took me totally by surprise. Hours later (and about 1:30 ago, actually) it showed up on the highway. The first photo has the flash (:dunce:), the second is just low light. But trust me, it's there.

Porsche Carrera GT

This is another car that magically re-appeared for me. Both times it was going opposite, but this time it was at a traffic light. He was crawling at 5 MPH, I was at a full stop, whipped out the camera and got it. The photo isn't actually that bad, all things considered. My best find in weeks...months, even. Forgot how wonderfully loud these are.

You may not notice much of my STI in the coming months. That's because I drive a Civic most of the time now. New purchase, used car, it gets to rack up the miles rather than the Impreza. Plus it's much more subtle: 2003 sedan, silver. You just can't get more generic than that. Well, maybe an 80's Dodge Aries, but who could live with that?

A few loose ends from the past week or so:

The best American car, EVAH?

(1967 Chevrolet Corvette 427 Coupe)

n78001441_30380106_5599.jpg

(Dodge Shelby Daytona Turbo Coupe. At my VW dealer. Odd.)

n78001441_30380107_5867.jpg

(The second C30 here in Grand Rapids. The first was down in the service bay getting ready for delivery.)

n78001441_30380108_6125.jpg

(My first new TT I've photoed, actually had kids riding in the back seat)

Sweet.

I like the original wheels that came with the stingray more though. At least they're not horrible, yeah.

While I would agree that standard Rally Wheels look great on the Corvette, the S/S wheels don't look bad either. Come to think of it, I don't think the S/S wheels look bad on ANY classic Chevy...

They're not a bad substitute but stock is always better, IMO.

EDIT: Well that's kind of vague, the majority of classic cars looks best stock.

I think they work with any classic American car in the 60's and 70's.

(Dodge Shelby Daytona Turbo Coupe. At my VW dealer. Odd.)

There were numerous changes for the 1986 Daytona. The middle "Turbo" model was dropped, leaving just two models — Base and Turbo Z. Engine changes were also made: A new 2.5 L 100 hp (75 kW) 4-cylinder engine was added for the base model. A new t-roof package was added to the option list, but just 5,984 Daytona owners chose this option. The biggest addition was the optional C/S (Carroll Shelby) Handling Package. This consisted of 32 mm front and 28 mm rear anti-sway bars, performance tuned struts, and speed rated tires. This package would foreshadow the Daytona Shelbys of 1987 and beyond. Only 7,704 owners added this handling package to their Daytonas. Total production this year would be 44,366.

Nice indeed. Not as rare as the dodge rampage spotted a while ago though, good spot none-the-less

I never get tired of seeing these...

Ehh...?

CL63 AMG & M6...

The bike from the M6 shot...probably not rare, but I thought it looked cool.

Volvo S60 D5R would seem to.

The black panel around the number plate on the 5-series suggests it's an M5 tuned by AC Schnitzer. Someone with access to one of those websites where you can type in a number plate and get the make and model could solve the issue.
