I don't know what this is. Its American, its post-war, my brother says Plymouth

My first XKR out on the streets. Sounded great as it went by in the parking lot. A really old lady was driving it...

The CTS ruined that shot. Without it the shot would actually be wallpaper material!

Agreed - but I was illegally parked and it seemed like the best possible shot wasn't going to happen. A minivan taxicab pulled between the Phantoms about a minute later.

Saw two of these today and two Continental GTCs. Obviously nothing special. Show me some sports cars, Atlanta!

Your "scenery" looks like it includes a very early 911... Hard to miss actually considering the color. The Stud' isn't painfully rare but it is a badass car and a great spot

@Opendriver: I'm uncertain of the official numbers produced by Studebaker, but the Avanti has been around a long, long time, produced by a wide variety of different companies.

And in a surreal moment today, I neglected to take a photo of a C6 Z06 simply because I didn't feel like grabbing my phone, even though I had ample time to do so. Why? I'm not sure... Must be because I'm beginning to see so many...

The first time I had that experience with a Bentley Arnage, I worried that maybe I was getting jaded by this hobby.

Someone mentioned GTi-R in another thread. I forgot I pictured one a couple of days ago.

Not a car, I figured i'd never see one because of how rare the 50th anniversary is but I'm happy I saw it, was just outside a Nob Hill across the street from my high school.

I mean I knew they look good but in person, damn...

I never expected to see one of these on the road here, ever. But a few weeks ago I saw it, less than half a mile from my house, but I had no camera and no time to take the shot if I had. "Won't see that again", I thought. However, today, in 3 seperate places on the way back from work, I spotted it again. Missed it the first time, got a few photos the second time at a junction, and felt pretty pleased. Then I went to the local supermarket, heard a burble just as I was about to walk in, saw the purple... Legged it back to my car, grabbed the camera and finally, got my photos. W00t. Complete with supercar parking.

Plymouth Prowler.

Now if you see the 50th anniversary LE version of that you really would have a good spot.

What's the difference?

Yamaha
The R1 LE is a special, limited-edition version of our awe-inspiring liter-bike—packed with premium components in addition to the standard tremendous firepower of the R1.

Öhlins suspension units front and rear, custom-developed for the R1 LE by the same people who work on the YZR-M1 MotoGP bike, provide the ultimate ride and handling.

Custom, YZR-M1-style forged aluminum Marchesini wheels designed specifically for the LE add style while removing nearly a pound of unsprung weight.

Back torque-limiting slipper clutch greatly aids downshifting from speed, helping the rider exploit all the R1 LE’s tremendous braking power.

yumm

I saw an E92 coupe today with v10 badges and some sort of blue tuner badge in place of all the BMW badges, definitely looked like it was legit considering the quadd exhaust tips, fender vents, and large tasteful wheel and tire package. Anyone know what this might have been? I was on the bus so no Pics:guilty:

Oh well, i'm still happy, I was drooling all over that bike. Another R1 was going by the Nob Hill and stopped to take a peak as well. :P

Hartge, perhaps?

I could not get a good picture of it today didn't know if it was legit or not but apparently it was.

1989 Shelby Dakota It was in red, I know you guys say no pictures it never happened but I did and I didn't even know this thing existed.

I saw--and detailed--this today...

(say hello to my Prelude in the background :D)

And I must tell you that it is a hugely magnificant beast in person. And frankly, after *cough* using some of its rear tire rubber, I can assure you that this thing is fast as hell. I don't NORMALLY joy ride in customer's cars--but I just couldn't resist this (he almost encouraged it). I cleaned and conditioned the interior, hand washed the exterior, and then waxed it. I wish I had a video camera to record the exhaust note--it was brlliant. I used to not like the CLS--but now that's changed. S-class be damned, I want one of these.

Def. It's the 1 of the extremely few sedans I'd consider right now. But they start way out of my range, and nearly $1,000/month on a lease.:scared:

I have seen a couple CLS55 and I have to agree with you on how they look. They are great looking car, especially so in black. Mercedes has really done a great job on them.

But my god it looks freaking sweet in person. The interior...is just ****ing brilliant. The seat goes back so far that even my 6'0" length hits the pedals by my toes. Just brilliant.

BTW, this was a 2007 CLS63.
