Bentley Arnage with unusually small back window. Picture taken in my rear view mirror.

is that the high roofline version by mulliner?

As for the replica I've seen better
Really? How were they better and by all means post the pics.

for example, a SILVER one!
That's subjective, but seeing as red is far less common and was an original option, I'd say that a red one is "better" and certainly more rare.

A company in Colorado makes them and a fellow down the road from me had one.
What's the name of the company, and can you post pics of the fellow down the road's Spyder replica?

I have no idea. Is it?

If it helps, here is another photo of the same vehicle and here is another.

The steering wheel is not period. The strip over the license plate is awful - probably stolen from the Beetle on which it's based. Furthermore, the rear proportions are off - a common kit car flaw due to cramming a larger body onto a smaller chassis. We see this a lot with Fiero-based Lamborghini Countach kits. Note the length of the rear of a real 550 Spyder compared to this one.

The company is called Boulder Speedster which was formerly based in Boulder, Colorado, though it seems they've recently moved to California. I don't photograph replicas and no longer reside in Colorado, however you can find a few photographs on their site. That company built the car down the road from me. Their attention to detail is better - you'll note the strip over the license plate and the steering wheel are fixed, for instance, and the proportional issues present in HA5379 are not there because of their build process.

Once again I am not trying to diminish the sighting, but replicas should certainly be differentiated from real cars and I don't think anyone would disagree with that.

It could be, Doug. I'm struggling to find any picture of it though, It was mentioned in TopGear magazine a few months back...

The absurdly ugly one, or the one that was probably towed to the repair shop down the street. Hmmmm.
M5Power
There was also an L7 based on the E23 7-series from 1986 to 1987.
You know, that seems kind of redundant.

Looks like a regular Arnage to me...

Although that rear window is throwing me a bit.

To the research-mobile!

Arnage RL (Red Label) seems a likely candidate.

New stuff from the past day or two... My finds have been pretty bad because I A) miss them B) aren't paying attention because of something else C) talking to the GF D) thinking about something more important.

Anyway:

Nice parking job, and BTW, that truck is ginormus. He had to park it that way because the bed would have blocked the lane. Oh, and I believe thats an '08 350Z too...

Hooray Trailblazer SS!

good spotting ceiling_fan.
The 928 GT is quite rare, being the third rarest of the 928 model.

928 GT - 1989½-91 - 1620
928 SE - 1988 - 42
928 CS - 1988-89½ - 19

I like how a lot of M5's spots are in one little parking area.:sly:

Anyway, I venture off campus for the first time this year and go to down to Douglas/whatever that other town next door is on the coast and am greeted by this:

Also the first time I have given photo evidence of a spot, and my first use of my new camera phone! Apology for the horrible photography.

I'm looking for the Saab 9-7X Aero. Saab 9-7X + GMPD suspension tune + 390 BHP LS2 V8 = Best GMT360 EVAH!

You haven't seen one yet? There are quite a few around here, I'll snap a photo next time I see one. I was unaware of what they were to be honest.

Many of them are, but the best ones always require significantly more legwork.

Oh yeah. It is always better to see the car on the road. I have heard about some of your adventures from when I browse this thread every so often.

Maximum w00tage for the West Michigan money! The Grand Haven/Holland area usually has good stuff around, same can be said for Grand Rapids/Forest Hills on most occasions.

BTW: I was down in Kalamazoo tonight and saw an Atom, no chance to take a photo though. Sucks. The car was a lot louder than I had anticipated...

Ok, I did'nt see this today, I saw it 3 days ago. I did not have a camera with me, as I was riding to the hospital to see my Mum in my Dad's car. A couple of cars ahead of us in the other lane, there was a Silver Ferrari, just not sure what model it was. It was strange to see it because in the area of Kent were I live is like seeing a Tramp in a mansion. The area of town where I saw it in is quite rundown. Sadly, there was an idiot driving it, on his mobil while driving. Which is illegal in England. Is it illegal in any other country?

Well this is what i saw today:
Mercedes-Benz G500
Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R (in yellow color)
Audi TT (the new one, not sure if its the 1.8 or the 3.2)
A Cadillac (or so my father told me)
Porsche Cayenne

man it sucks if you don't have a camera....

In the US, I believe it depends on the state. I think New York requires you to be on a hand's free device to use a cell phone while driving.
